I think the E.U. is doing the best thing by not allowing them to join the union...until they admit to the Armenian Genocide!
How the hell can they deny such a crime when the proof is out there?

And why the hell does the U.S. insist that the E.U. allows them a place in the union? can't they (the U.S.) mind their own business?

my answer = NO...turkey needs to pay for their crime first (admitting is the first step!)

I have heard that anyone born in 1990 and on ward will have to wait until 18 to drive. Whats more I have heard both the smoking age, which is said to go up to 18, and drinking age, said to go up to 21, are to go up. I am pretty certain the driving age is going up along with the smoking one, but what about the drinking age?

Besides the usual suspects, the Revolutionary War was a result of religious zealots leaving England for the New World, and fighting for their independence. Of course, WWII, although many were killed, was started because of Hitler's paranoia towards the Jews. Then, the MIddle East and it's gihad, can you name any others?

Doesn't this describe perfectly what Israel is doing in Lebanon? This is wikipedia's definition of terrorism.

Terrorism refers to a strategy of using violence, or threat of violence targetted against innocents or non-combatants to generate fear, cause disruption, and ultimately, to bring about compliance with specific political, religious, ideological, and personal demands. The audience to be affected by terrorist attacks typically are not the individuals who are killed, injured, or taken hostage, but rather the societies to which these individuals belong. Terrorism is a type of unconventional warfare designed to weaken or supplant existing political landscapes through capitulation or acquiescence, as opposed to subversion or direct military action. The broader influence of terrorism in the modern world is often attributed to the dramatic focus of mass media in amplifying feelings of intense fear and anger.

THAT WAS THE SUBJECT OF THE SERMON ON SUNDAY AT MY CHURCH. ALTHOUGH THE PREACHER DIDN'T SAY NEOCONS, I THOUGHT IT DESCRIBED THEM EXACTLY. A GOOD CHRISTIAN WOULDN'T BEHAVE THE WAY NEOCONS DO.

Buried beneath the headlines of the Mid East conflict is the forgotten story of the region’s indigenous Jewish communities. In 1945, up to one million Jews lived in the Middle East outside of the Palestine Mandate and in North Africa. Within a few years, only a few thousand remained.

This is the story of the thousands who fled their homes, who endured in refugee camps, and who today quietly carry the memory of a destroyed civilization.

The Forgotten Refugees explores the history and destruction of Middle Eastern Jewish communities, some of which had existed for over 2,500 years.

Featuring testimony from Jews who fled Egypt, Libya, Iraq and Yemen, these personal stories of refugees are interspersed with dramatic archival footage, including rescue missions of Yemenite and Iraqi Jews.

You are a lawyer. One day an elderly lady comes to you with a problem. she is a widow, and her husband made her executor of his estate. He also gave her everything he owned. 50 years ago, the man bought land under an assumed name, a combination of his first name and his mother's maiden name. A warehouse was built on this land, and his business was based there. Being self employed, the man did everything himself. As a result, the widow knew nothing of what to do. A business competitor wants to buy the land, but refused to hand over the money once he found out the business of the assumed name. The business is in another part of the country, and there is no watchman, apart from the business partner mentioned above. on several visits, the widow noticed that things are slowly disappearing, but she has no proof of theft. The old lady has all but given up the estate as a loss...
