I have 3 rabbits, 2 Harlequins and a rabbit that we dont know his breed. The 2 Harlequins are does, and the brown rabbit is a buck. When I got them about 2 months back, they only ate a half a can(Size of a reg. corn can) of food and it would last them all day and night. Strangly Orihime(One of the does) has begun finishing all of that before i return home from school while Marguerit(Other doe) still eats the same amount. The buck is my sisters and he stll eats the amount she gives him. They all live in one big outside hutch that is seperated into 3 parts, and they each have their own that they cant get out of. She cant be pregnant, as she hasnt been in any contact with the buck since 5-6 weeks ago when she found an escape route to his hutch. Unless they where together again when I nor my mum knew. Why do you think she is eating so much now?

I've got 2 rabbits (Charlie 8 months and Lola 6 months - both have been neutered/spayed) Both live in a large hutch in the shed and when we are at home we bring them in to run around the lounge as they are both litter trained.
We had Charlie first, Charlie is fantastic, he is really tame and affectionate and when its time to go back to the hutch he'll let us take him in.

then we got Lola. They get on great with eachother. However with us she is really timid. When we try to catch her (especially when we want to put her in her cage) she runs off and hides anywhere. It sometimes takes us over an hour to get her. When we do catch her we just have to suddenly grab her (by putting 2 hands on her back) and after a couple of seconds she stops kicking.
I dont want her to associate us with trying to catch her all the time. Plus i'm worried about hurting her by picking her up this way.
We've tried everything, any suggestions??

I have had my rose hair for about 6months now. She dug herself a hole in the bedding and proceeded to build a web around herself. On the second day she broke out of it. She has since then balled up the web and is sitting on it. She has been like that for about 2 1/2 weeks and will not eat or leave the ball of web. What do I do?

I might get two sugar gliders, but my mom will only let me get them if they can stay outside. Is that okay for them, or should they be kept inside?

I'm getting a new horse. He's a 4 year old short black horse, with a small white star on his forehead. I have come up with these names (after narrowing it down):

Trey
Shogun
Domino
Rudiger (Rudy)

I would like to name him something more original. So nothing like 'Midnight' or 'Shadow.'
Any suggestions or do you like one of the ones I thought up?
Thank you! =)

Hi i have Breed one of my sows and was wondering if i could leave my other sow with her all the way through her pregnacy?

Originally i was planning on breeding two of my guinea pigs Rogue and Faith. Saddly faith died before i had the chance i was upset so my mum brought me a new guineapig Piglet, Piglet is too young to breed but i went ahead with Rogue before its to late ( before she is too old for her first litter). Anyway i wanted to know if Piglet will be alright with the babies. Rogue is 7-9 weeks gone and her and piglet are good friends will it be alright to leave the two together

Is it humane/legal/acceptable to put a dog on the back of a truck? I just saw a truck with a dog on the back, but for the first time, the dog was in a cage. Any other time I've seen a dog on the back of the truck, he was running around loose. I don't even like dogs, but I hate seeing them sliding on the back of trucks. Isn't that dangerous? I'm pretty sure that's how most of the dead dogs on the freeways got there.

I am very compassionate towards animals and I still think about the whole animal lover/meat eater dilemma. First of all, I do not eat meat, because by doing so, I do not contribute to the slaughterhouse cruelties and ultimately it is better for the environment (less pollution) and my health. But, I do eat fish, I am not of the opinion that fish are not worthy or do not feel pain, I still feel bad for them, but I feel like my body does need to eat fish once in a while. I tried to wear non-leather shoes and usually buy purses that are non-leather aswell, but it's not as easy as it seems to find a vast variety of non-leather items. I feed my pets meet, and that is something that is anavoidable, because the do really need it. So if I feed my animals a cow or a chicken, or cute little pork out of a bag, I can't help but becoming one of the consumers that supports slaughterhouses. Very sad. I feel that since I am human and blessed with a reasoning mind, I should not follow other animals

We have five cats and I've had it with this awful litter box smell. It's so bad that I'm clean out the litter box at least twice a day. I've tried fabreeze and baking soda already. And before I go out and spend lots of money on stuff that doesn't work. I'm asking you (the reader)...

What works and what doesn't work on that awful kitty litter box?

I'm posting this question for my sister because I know NOTHING about rabbits...

I just called my sister and she said that she just got her rabbit spayed yesterday and the rabbit is not eating at all. I asked my sister if she called the vet and she said "yes", but she couldn't say anything after that because she was crying too hard. I feel really bad for her because she's worried about the rabbit - does anyone have any ideas??? Has this happened to anyone else? Do they sell vitamins for rabbits that we could bring to my sister to at least get some kind of nutrients into the rabbit?

I'm not sure if it matters but I don't know what kind of rabbit it is. She's about the size of a cat though and is a little over 1 year old.
