my cat is acting very weird. i recently brought him home. He was a stray cat. We fed him, we bought him toys, we let him sleep in our beds. My sisters and i even take turns to take care of him every night when we're suppose to be sleeping just to make sure he's happy. He meows all the time, like wanting something but i just don't understand what he wants. i tried giving him food, but he refused. Gave him toys but he lost interest in playing after awhile. Another problem with him is, he kept going to the hidden places like under the sink or near the places where the wires are. I had to carry him elsewhere to prevent danger happening to him. But as soon as i put him down, like example, at the hall, he ran as quickly as possible like as if he's running for his life. There were this day too when he was playing with his toy happily, when suddenly he stopped playing and ran quickly under the table. What's wrong with him? i need help, please. thanks a million!

I'm really asking this for a old friend and he does not know what to do?He has 2 dogs,2 cats,6 laying hens,a tame rabbitt and a hornie rooster. The problem is the rooster will not leave bugs alone. He is always attacking Him sexually. The old man can not kill the rooster as he needs the eggs and bugs is his favorite pet,not only to him,but his grandkids as well.He has tried everything, even pinning bugs in a cage, but the rooster allways gets in someway. There is no problem with the dogs and cats. They just sit back and watch the action. The rooster is a Rhode Island Red and is made like John Holmes. This man is about to go crazy trying to solve this problem. Can anyone make a suggestion to help him? Thanks

I have a femal, unspayed border collie. she is cute, smart, hyper, trainable, somestimes skitish, but very aggresive. I also have a beagle, he have had her since she was 6 weeks old. My border collie is now 41/2, and the beagle is 1. My border collie kind of adopted her, so she's niece and loving to her, andthey never get into fights, but when I take her onwalks to this big park up the street, she gets a little skittish, and as soon as she sees another dog she gets stiff, and the hair on the back of her neck stands up striaght. She starts growling and gives them the famous border collie death stare! She hasn't ever gotten in a fight with dogs at the park, but it scars me, and she has fought with some ov my previous dogs. I got her off a farm when she was about 6 weeks old, so we are close, I can tell she trusts me, and I trust her. She has natural herding skills and can jump 5' 6", he's a dream to look at also, I'd haste to have to put her down, please help me!

Has anyone heard of this? The P.E.T.A. web site tries to advocate turning your pet vegetarian. Cats and dogs alike. I just don't know what to think of this? I know dogs are omnivorous, but cats are hands down carnivores. The dogs might fare a little better, but wouldn't it ultimatley damage the animals? I just don't think it's right. Animals don't have the voice to choose to be vegetarians, and their bodies are designed for meat. What does everyone else think?

I have been wanting a rat for a long time and my family friend, Sherry, said that she would give me one that she raises. It's black with white feet and is so pretty. My mom says no and my dad says whatever my mom says goes.

My guinea pig, Elvis got into a fight with another boy. This was their first fight and there was bloodshed. No injuries were made upon Cheeko, the other fighter. Elvis lost his two bottom teeth ( the main ones) and had bite marks on his back. What I'm concerned about is the teeth. I gave him some Timothy Hay and he ate that, but I mean he'll be fine, right???

Well, I have two pet rats. The problem is they are babies (about a month or two old) and they are identical. When we take them out it is sort of hard to tell them apart. The only precise way is weighing them and we want an easier way. So does anyone have any ideas that will be safe for them (for instance they chew through it, or wash it out, or it be hazardous to them.
