First of all, is it even legal to have a monkey as a pet in your state? Even if it is, you really should make sure there are vets where you live who will take monkeys in case anything ever happens to your monkey or it gets sick. Last of all, I hope that you have read up on monkeys. They are primates. There are diseases that some of them can pass to humans. Depending on weather or not this is a new world catagory monkey or an old world monkey catagory you can transfer diseases to it as well. Monkeys are prone to biting and that is how the transfers take place. I certainly hope you have thouroughly researched all of this before you got the monkey!
