They will be bored and lonely, but as long as you keep them warm (and away from any car fumes), they should be fine.

Although, some would say that to consign these sensitive, intelligent, social animals to life in a dingy, dark garage would constitute cruelty.

Rabbits are very tolerable to colder temperatures. Being kept outside in a hutch is permissible provided they have sufficient bedding and are kept dry and out of the wind/drafts.

Inside a building such as a garage or shed is fine. They do not neccessirly need bedding, they may just chew/eat it all up rather than use it. Definately do not put your bunny in the garage if cars are parked in there. And be sure the cage is kept away from direct heat sources or drafts from doors/windows.

Cage Placement - Preferably, rabbits should be placed outdoors where they do extremely well and can tolerate sub-zero temperatures. They do need to be kept out of drafts and kept dry. Rabbits always need proper ventilation, whether outside or inside. During the summer months, the housing should be kept in the shade as rabbits do not tolerate heat very well. In the winter you can put plastic around the outside of the hutch and leave the bottom open ventilation. The plastic will stop the wetness from getting in and protect the animal from the wind. Cages or hutches can also be placed in garages, basements, barns, sheds, etc. Remember, however, there must always be good ventilation and it should be easy for you to access the cages for taking care of your rabbit.

hi! i does no longer recomend holding a rabbit contained in the storage. The fumes from gas and such is purely no longer reliable. also the storage except that is airconditioned receives very warm contained in the summer season. i'd recomend this: Get a great spacious outside rabbit cage. An off the floor cage might want to be reliable which contain a rabbit hutch. purely make effective predators cant get in and that is safeguard. also contained in the summer season time, you want a range of of colour. so long because the rabbit has a range of of colour and water it will be superb. For the iciness or less warm climate you want to have a great warmth position. you want to get a field and fill it with straw or previous blankets or something like that and make like a nest. The rabbit will also improve a great iciness coat so it will be superb. so actual colour and water contained in the summer season and a warmth field contained in the iciness. nicely reliable luck! wish this helped!

as long as they are given lots of room, are warm, and you still interact with them daily they should be fine. Rabbits are social animals so you really have to make sure you still spend time with them. I use to have a rabbit who was kept in the garage, but he had a huge cage and we brought him inside every day to play and run around and he was fine.

They should not be in a garage, especially in the summer. Here in Georgia, a garage can get over 100 degrees and that will kill most rabbits. I would never put any of our bunnies in a garage.

yes they can.. just make sure they get food and water at all times.. also keep them dry and out of drafts!

Do not move them from the garage, to the warm house to outside again.. they can not handle major temperature changes and they will get sick and die if it happens too much..

I think it'd be ok. Lots of people have house rabbits.... I used to have one that was free in my sunroom, but they are very destructive and chew more than rodents.... plus their poops are bigger. If the floor is concrete you might want to put down some hay and make some hiding places for them, so they feel safe and secure.
