yesterday my bunny just sat there doing nothing, and an hour ago he was just sitting. now he's running around his cage and he keeps playing with all his toys, and hopping upwards like a nervous twitch. whats wrong? Is he seeing things? or practicing his hopping/running? I just got him from a pet shop, I don't know how old he is, at least 5 months I'd say.

im not making this be a funny question or anything, i really want to know. the reason why is because im just starting to think that my rabbit is a little bit off the regular end. i mean im not saying that he bumps into walls or anything, he is just too out of the ordinary, which in a way is a good thing. but im so dead curious to figure out whether he is or isnt a bit disordere.

as a previous question i asked before, i mentioned how he is too layed back that is absolutely not scared of anything. i ve had him for over 2 years and since the very day i found him he has been the same. you can pick him up and hold him like a baby and he would relax all the way, it is like he is dead but he isnt. he has been like this since the day i found him, and its a good trait, right? but im curious to know...does my rabbit have to be 'disordered' to be THIS layed back, this UN normal ??

can pets be disordered?

I adopted 2 wild ferrel cats. I have a garden shed with a cat hole cut in it so they have a place to go. Lately something has been eating their food, and we are pretty sure it is possums. Is there any way to deter them from coming in there other than not feeding my cats?

My best friend has two pet rats that i really can't stand, they really are horrible things and even he doesn't have any time for them so I am considering letting them go free outside one day while he is at work. They eat pretty much anything but I feel a bit worried that I'm being cruel. Will they survive? I live on a city full of them.

We gave her a treatment for fleas last weekend. For a day or so, this seemed to help. Now she's itching & scrathing again. She has allergies including dust mites which we think now is the cause of her problem. We will be taking her to the vetenarian probably in a few days...when we get the time to. Meanwhile...does anybody out there now how to treat dust mites on dogs. I hate to see her suffer. Suggestions much appreciated!!

My husband and I disagree on this one....can a rabbit eat salt?? like if someone had put salt on lettuce or on cucumber..would it then be ok to give it to the rabbit after washing it?

And any other food tips would be good.

thanx much.

Ok, we did all the research, got a big enough cage and got 2 small female rats...one cream/white the other brown/white. The cream one was sneezing on the way home, the brown was not. Took the cream back the next day and got cream#2. Brown started sneezing and died only a week after we got her. Got brown#2. C2 started sneezing the same day that we got B2 (B2 did not meet C2) took both B2 and C2 back to petstore-bleached out cage and waited for a week. Got B3 and B4 (no creams in this batch). Again one rat started sneezing (did not open the boxes in the car so I don't know when the B4 started sneezing B3 was not sneezing at all)we have had them for almost a week, and both rats are sneezing (B4 sounds congested). We do not spray any deoderizers in my daughters room. We vac with a rainbow V. this can't be allergies! I think the breeder is sending sick rats to this store. Any thing from home that I can do? I will not spend $30 on a $3 rat. I WILL take it back to the store though. Any suggs?
