Nature has its own warning colours such as yellow and black stripes. If you wore a yellow and black striped top would it afford any protection against wild animals ?

heya guys,
i am really stuck. my grandad has this racehorse called highfive. i first saw him over a year ago, and i fell in love with him the first time i saw him. the problem is he lives in a completely different country. and the transport and all that rubbish. i have begged for him ever since. i have pictures of him everywhere. i cry over him. no 1 seems to get it. they dont know what i go through. thers not one day that goes by that i dont think bout him. (im 13) my grandad said there is no chance in the world that he is ever going to come and live with me where i stay. and my dad keeps saying in one years time. a nd i need him sooner. i wanna be able to train him, and make him be the horse for me. i have a bond with that animal. and if he has to come half way orund the world for me to get him, then so be it. and the stupid thing is, he duznt even win any races. he is a useless racer. but my grandad insists that he is capable. but he isnt. please can u give me some persuasion tips!

No real limitations here. Assuming that the pet, whatever it may be has been totally domesticated, trained, and is very obedient.

Hiya - bit of a wierd question...

There is a possibility that I may be having a rabbit for xmas as I've ALWAYS wanted one but was advised by my doctor to wait until my eczema went down :-(

So now I may be allowed one but my mum is worried about it irritating my dad as he has problems with his nose (synesis I think)

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could get around this problem??

Thanks very much, any help will be appreciated!! ;-)

I asked this a few days ago, but just in case you didn't see it, I'm asking it again. I think we should have a seperate section within the pets section for horses/equine.
Searching through all the other pets questions to find anything horse related is so annoying!
Does anyone agree?

of hitting a chipmunk coming back from the store after getting laundry detergent to wash my jeans. My heart was in my mouth almost. It was so tiny and unsure of itself. I think it was a kid chipmunk. 1st it went that way then changed its little mind and reversed direction. Why arn't there Chipmunk Crossing Signs?

I just read somewhere that their illegal to own as a pet in california... why is that? They don't look like they could kill off native animals like a ferret can...so why?

(and nothing bad ment towards ferrets... I actually adore them)

Today, there is a skinny and young cat coming to our company. It may be only one or two months old. I hope that I could take it home but my place is not allowable. My colleague and I try to feed it while working in company. However, it is too small and skinny that we are afraid he will be squashed by car wheel. If I take it home, is there any suggestion for me to start to take care of it because I really don't have any experience of cat.
