Do lemmings like cliffs?

they live near them and occasionally have been frightened by man or a predator, this is when they run and end up falling. They don't really just commit mass suicide like people think. they just don't realize what they are doing when frightened and end up not stopping in time to not fall.

Yeah, they like to take a nose-dive off of them.
