I live in an old farm house and always have spiders. At the beginning of the summer I sprinkled a lawn pesticide all around the outside of the house and hardly saw any spiders all summer. I was amazed. There were still a few, but nothing like they had been in years past. Try that.

hey, i am not the only one with spiders then...i got the pest control round, they spayed this product in my porch area, cos that was where most of the spiders where. i have alot less now but still get some round the house, so i called the pest control back and they told me that spiders move around, so i if u try getting rid of them in one area, they will find a different area of your house to live in, the only way to get rid of them is by treating your whole house with some product that a pest control can do for you...but its expensive and it doent come with a garantee, that they won't come back. good luck

In the average house ther are hundreds of spiders living there, thankfully they don't all come out at once, Yuck! there is no getting away from them. The best way to get rid of them is to catch them in a glass and place some card underneath, take them outdoors and set them free....hopefully they will go elsewhere.

how much do you like flies and other creepy crawlies? Spiders do you a service - they eat all the other bugs (and sometimes each other)

The best way of keeping spiders out of your house is get a really big spider-eating spider to move in - all the others then either get eaten or leave. when they are all gone the really big one also moves on.

this doesn't last for very long as the cycle normally reasserts itself after a couple of months.

do you like cats? they eat spiders.......

once you've a spider problem you've a computer virus problem to boot, as spiders stay the position there is nutrients. So, earlier you spray your position down with chemical compounds (by no skill a sturdy theory) search for the insects that the spiders are eating. i in my view relocate spiders to the exterior.

What I do is get a cup or glass, a piece of paper, Put the spider on the paper, then put the cup over the spider. then I would chuck the spider outside.

Very few spiders can present any danger to humans. They are very beneficial insects.

I have them frequently around my house, inside and out. I simply "capture" them with a plastic container and a piece of cardboard underneath and put them back outside where they belong.

prevention really is the key to solving this (i dont like spiders either) place conkers at various points around your house, for some reason spiders dont like them and should stay away.
