Nature has its own warning colours such as yellow and black stripes. If you wore a yellow and black striped top would it afford any protection against wild animals ?

Yes, but for larger animals such as zebras and large striped cats, it is also a form of camoflauge so that they can blend in to help catch their prey or avoid being eaten. Many animals can tell their prey by smell, even if we don't think we do, and by the way they move. Do bee keepers wear yellow and black when they go collect honey, I think not.

Nope. Animals that use color warning establish the threat of harm over a large period of time. (Lots of yellow and black frogs were eaten before the rest of the animals learned to leave them alone).

Those stipes will attract the wild animals out of curiosity. But forget about them it's your local prison you'll need to watch out for.

You mean if you then appear to be a Bumble bee? Mmmmm maybe the elephants will run away thinking they might get stung or they might not like Bumble bees and trample all over you.

No, try walking past a lion wearing those colours, it will still catch and eat you.

i have played with an african lion, and a cougar. so i can not tell you to do it or not to do it! i can tell you it's an experience you will never forget. the lions name was "king" and the cougar's name was baby. i loved both of them, if you have never been licked on the face by a lion or a courger, let me tell you, it is a scratching experience.

It would probably be safe to walk near a lion if it were dead
