they have very good memory, and remember almost everyone and every place they've ever been to. and also, female elephants live in families consisting of grandmas, cousins, moms, and infants. and male elephants (bulls) also live in groups-they do not bond as well, and they fight a lot.
elephants are my favorite animal, and i know a lot about them...so if you need any information about them (and any animal, for that matter), you can email me at: xkelly18@yahoo.com
i love animals, and i'm learning more and more about them though books...which i get easy access to at the library. you should start doing that too : D, it's very helpful-there is a particular place where there's books on animals, and i go there almost 99% of the time i go to the library. if you need help on any animal info, that should be the first place to look (the library). and the internet is helpful too.

I like elephants too. Here's a website with a web cam. It is located in Hohenwald, Tennessee. They keep rescued elephants there that used to travel with circusses or live in zoos. Even got four African females. It's getting very cold around those parts, so you might have to wait a little while for them to come out. In the summer you can see them bathing in the pond and go for walks. Enjoy!

well they are migratory on a specific path, they will go thru villages if its on their path, bulls travel alone. cow calf combos make up the herds you hear about unless theyre, well, breeding, they are extremely aggressive they cant share space. there used to be a species of elephant that could hold up to 50 people on its back, until it got wiped out late 1800s and the only thing thats left of them are pictures. they have like a 2 year gestation,
