My husband is a school teacher and likes to have pets in his classroom. he has trouble with allergies and the students clashing . so we are trying to think of a pet other than fish that he could have.. we have thought of hedge hog and hermit crab..any other suggestions?

I have 2 bunnies, one has hot ears the other does not, does that mean one has a higher teperature and could be sick or is it normal?
He eats/drinks and acts fine so I assume he is, but I can't be sure. Any advice?

My rabbit has a rash under his neck, he has had it on his leg before but it wasnt sore to him we took him to the vets and she gave him cream but how are we ment to show the vet when he goes crazy. When we try and look at it he goes crazy never mind a stranger pulling him about. HIs fur disapears in that specific area. PLEASE HELP

He is so good, very fun and never bites, will momentarily calm when we pick him up to get out of trouble spots, but when in lap will wiggle and be so wild after play session, any ideas, techniques for calming?

I have a Flemish Giant. He has fleas around the eyes, between the ears and on the nose. The fleas are easy to get rid of but they have left lots of "flea dirt" in his fur. What is the best way to get it gone? Oh yes, the flea dirt is like their waste product.

I bought my dwarf hamster less than a year ago. She was very healthy until about a month ago. Then her fur started looking greasy, she stopped running on her wheel and she looks smaller than usual. She also looks like she's breathing harder than usual. Does anyone know how to get her health back to where it was.

I'm thinking of getting my kids a turtle for their room. Any past or present turtle owners with advice on what kind, issues with the turtle, etc?? Hopefully one that will not be inside it's shell all the time, can be handled quite a bit. PS are they very smelly? I took care of their old mice and while I cleaned it's cage every couple of days, the whole house pretty much smelled like a mouse house.
