Bunnies don't usually need to be bathed, in fact, bathing them can make them sick, because they're not accustomed to being wet and cold - it's very bad for them. If you occasionally needed to wash a bunny's fur, for example if he has had diarrhoea, the best idea is to place a clean towel on the ground, say in the kitchen or bathroom, and saturate the towel with luke-warm water (not hot and never cold water - cold water can put a bunny into shock) and then place your bunny on the towel, let the water soak into him, and massage his grubby areas gently but firmly with the wet towel until he's clean. If that isn't getting him clean enough, in unusual circumstances, you can also give him a 'mini' bath, but only in about one inch, two centimetres of luke-warm water (not hot and never cold water). It's also best to do this in a container on the floor, because rabbits hate water, and he will probably try to jump out of the water. So you have to be VERY careful that he doesn't jump out suddenly and injure himself, and never take your eye off him for one second while he's around the water.

I have read that you are not supposed to bathe your rabbit. Much like cats they lick and bathe themselves. Plus a bath can be very stressful for them. I would suggest rub in shampoos that can be found at pet stores. I have purchased them for my rabbit, but honestly I hardly use them.

Have you ever seen a rabbit in the wild having a bath!? No, exactly. Unless your rabbit is covered in something it shouldn't be (paint, for example) its probably best to leave him be and he'll take care of his own hygiene!

You dont. An alternative would be a "dust bath" like chinchilla's use. You can buy a bag of it at most pet stores.

Same as you wash any other animal. I washed my rabbit in a washing up bowl. The problem was he kept trying to jumb into my arms (he was a naughty but seriously cute rabbit) and got me wet. It is important to keep rabbits clean so they don't get a horrible disease.

I've got a squirty bottle and I fill it with animal shampoo and water and chase my rabbit and squirt him! It's a bit of a mission to be honest but it's the only way I can do it!

Carefully I should think! You're likely to be shredded! Why would you want to bath it anyway?
