Yes, Australia has the largest population of Camels of any country in the world. They were brought there in late 1800's-early 1900's to build their railroads and turned loose when they were finished with it. They are also the largest exporters of camels in the world. As there are many problems with the interbreeding of camels in the Middle East as well as problems with STD's yes camels get the clap too!

watch out comin tru, mind or i'll bite ya, yes i am a wild camel, wouldn't you be wild if you had to walk on the beach all day carrying tourists who are 20st overweight, honestly my poor humps are no longer humps, the are more like bumps now with everyone getting on and off me all day.
just move over there, my poor feet, stick the kettle on. and I'll tell ya all about my days as a WILD CAMEL before I was captured..........................................

If you tread on their toes the will pretty much all become wild. I jumped on a camels toe once and he wasn't just wild about it, he was LIVID.
