why do these people have pit bulls and staffs and do not work and have no pet insurance be allowed to have dogs like these, they walk around as if to say my dog is better than yours and watch out. the reason im asking is my dog was attacked by one of them 1 week ago and had to get 27 stitches, the owner didnt care less, i have insurance and thank god for that as the bill came to £280. they should all be taxed to the hilt and yes i dont mind paying the tax for my dog, we are a working family by the way. what do you think?

My 7 month shih tzu has had diarrhea badly for the past day and it is really wet and smells. Right now it is 6:15am and he was throwing up that is why I woke up. I'm at a loss right now on what to do. I don't know where the problem is but this is what he ate before it happened. I gave him some salmon and chicken in his dry dog food to help with his coat, and for the first time I gave him a brewers yeast tablet made for dogs. I think it has to do with the brewers yeast tablet but I'm not a 100% sure (I will not be giving that again) so I cut out the chicken and salmon in his food as well just in case. He is still playful and happy the only thing is he needs to poo constantly and sometimes nothing comes out. If it doesn't stop by afternoon I will be taking him to the vet, but I was wondering if maybe someone may have some answers on what I can do to help him. Thank you!

I have been training my 7 month Cocker from the Cesar Millan and New Skeet training books and having great success. The only problem is he is so incredibly friendly with everyone that he won't announce visitors at the door. He just runs up, tail wagging. Is there any feasible way of getting him to do this?

My puppy is being pee pad trained. She's actually pretty good and is using it about 90% of the time. But the problem is, when she is eliminating solid waste on the pads, she starts off well, but towards the end, before the entire stool is dropped on the pad, she stands back up and walks off the pad too soon so a little amount of stool is dropped on the carpet. How can I train her to expell her entire stool only on the pad and not get up too soon and walk off?

I have been looking for a pure breed black smooth coat Chow Chow puppy for quite a while now with no luck. This dog MUST be a black pure breed male only. I want one that is not fixed because I plan to breed him someday.
I live in southern Minnesota and would like to find one soon. I love this breed of dogs very much and I would supply him with a very loving home! I would like to find out how much a pure breed Chow dog normally costs as well.

clearly there has to be something done about this. That cruelty to animals is not acceptable. People should speak out. I am so completly disgusted about our justice system. But then again the justice only stands for corrupt. I hope they can pass a bill about the misdemeanor to a felony. People deserve to do at least a yr. over something that horrific.

I have had a six week old Chihuahua since yesterday. She has started eating soaked kibble (puppy Pedigree). She has also started to be VERY active; today she started running like crazy!

My concern is: She is sleeping in my room in a medium-large cardboard box. She sleeps for about 3 hours then she starts crying. This is her telling me that she has to go to the bathroom. At night she does this too; she did it at midnight and around three in the morning. Should I let her out of the box in the wee hours of the night so she can go pee and poo, or should I just go to sleep and clean her messy blankets (assuming she goes) in the morning??
