Now, before you get mad at me, I only share occasionally!!! It's not part of her regular food!

My dog likes : Chick peas (garbanzo beans), French-Canadian pea soup and squash.

My cat liked: dry cereal like Bran Flakes and cotton candy!

Thanks for answering!

I have a 10 month old child, and I would like to start leaving his bedroom door open at night while he is sleeping. However we have a cat, and I am not sure if it would be safe to leave the door open for fear the cat would go in and lay on his head while he is sleeping. He does roll and everything at night. When do I not have to worry about the cat suffercating him?

Our elderly neighbor who lives across the street from us fell and broke her hip, so she went from a nursing home to her daughter's house to recuperate. She was gone for almost six months, and while she was gone a brood of feral cats moved in to her back yard and took up residence. 1 male, 1 female and 4 kittens. They were beyond socialization. So I got a trap from the Humane Society and managed to trap and remove all but the adult male. Do you think he will move on, or will he stay and attract more feral cats? I figured we got all the kittens who were just about at the age to start mating themselves, and the Momma cat who could get preggers again anytime. What do you think about the dominate male cat? He was very smart and he must have had some "cat sense" because no matter what we baited the trap with, he wouldn't go in. We acutally saw him digging underneath the trap where you put the bait, and scooping out the food with his paws.

Ok I have decided to take a little break from Daily Bark and I am going to be posting them on and off.
Due to rudeness and idiots on here I have lost interest in Yahoo Answers.
Daily Dog Photo: http://www.mydogneeds.com/dog-groups/toy-dogs/chihuahua.jpg
Topic for today: Dogs and Tv
Does your dog watch tv with you?
Is he attracted to a specific show?
When dogs watch other dogs on tv it does not really mean he is attracted to the dog because well its just another dog but he's more attracted to the movement.

Knowledge and personal experiences are welcome!

Got a plant delivered with a little brownish colored lizard hitching a ride. My son loves it so were going to try to keep it. What do I feed it? How often do I feed it? It's only a little over an inch long. Bought a tank and heat light. How long do I leave the heat light on? Only at night? All the time? What do I put in the tank with it? What do I put in as the base? How often do I clean it out? Any information would be great. I've looked on line, but thought some of you out there could help. I know I've been in floral shops before and they say these lizards come in on the plants all the time. HELP!

I want to give my rabbit more space to run about as her run isnt much longer than her hutch (so she might as well be stuck in her hutch 24/7 which i think is a bit unkind) and im worried that if i leave her in the garden which is walled and safe for her so she cant escape that any cats in the area might try to attack her, i would be in the house but i cant see her from where we sit! Anyone else leave their rabbits out for a few hours in the evenings?

I need to block my cat from leaving the kitchen area, the only tiled room in the house. The cat urinates constantly on our carpeting which has resulted in costly repair and cleaning. This is a daily thing for her. She has been medically cleared and we have also tried costly behavioral training. Final verdict this is just something she does and we have to live with it. I don't want to give her away, so this is our last option. If anyone knows a website that I can order a gate from I would appreciate it. The gate has to be tall enough that she can't jump over it. We have already tried a gate that is 44"

How do I treat my cats for fleas, i wish they would let me bathe them, but thats not gonna happen. The flea powder is worthless. I can't afford to take 3 cats to the vet for fleas. I feel so bad for them and don't know what to do.

My cat keeps having diarea and going all over my house. In many different places he'll leave either drops or piles of poop over and over again. The litter box is clean and he always uses it to pee. Why might he be doing this and how can I make him stop?

Ellen adopted a pet dog from a shelter. After a while the dog was too much to handle so she gave it to her hairdressers two young daughters. They love this dog very much. The shelter found out about it and took the dog away. Ellen is pleading to have the dog returned but apparently she signed a waiver saying that if the dog couldn't stay at her house it had to be returned to the shelter so she violated the agreement she had signed. These girls are heartbroken and Ellen is trying to get the dog returned to the girls and feels horrible that the shelter took it away. The shelter is standing behind their decision to take the dog back because who gave Ellen the right to determine if the home was fit for the dog? These girls love this dog but the shelter is still refusing to let the girls have it back. Do you think Ellen was in the wrong by giving the dog to the girls or do you think the shelter is wrong for taking the dog back even though she violated the agreement?

Ellen put alot of money into helping Iggy....then realized he didn't do well with her cats. She found an excellent home for him....what about all the money, time and energy into finding a new home for Iggy? If the family doesn't receive him back, will Mutts & Moms reinburse Ellen....and family's with kids under 14 can't adopt a dog....lots of people purchase a dog for the family when the dog is young, so the children can grow up with them.

Yesterday afternoon my mother and I went to the Stark County Humane Society and we adopted a 5 year-old Maine Coon called Smokey Joe. We'd had our eye on him for nearly a month, and my mother's husband just gave us the OK to get him. However, we noticed that his adoption fee had been reduced to 15 dollars, and he had been neutered.
But this morning we noticed that Smokey Joe has no front claws. The Humane Society had said nothing about this operation, and my mother and I remember that he had claws the first time we'd seen him, because he'd playfully scratched my hand. (Like I cared, we live with 16 other cats!)
All of our other cats have their claws and go outside when they ask to be let out.
We will not be giving Smokey Joe back to the Humane Society because I just love him...
But do you have any advice for taking care of a newly-adopted and newly-neutered/declawed 5 year old male cat? I know he'll have to stay inside, but is there more to it than that?
