I need a name for my new rabbit. He is a California lop, solid colored in a light brown coat. He's very sweet and loves to toss his little wooden play blocks around. I cannot think of a name for him, though. Nothing sounds right. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm a proud Whippet owner...I have two...Loki and Calypso. Where are the other Whippet owners? The breed isn't nearly as popular here on the East Coast, USA as it is in England or in warmer climates. (Whippets are NOT typically fond of cold weather!)

Tell me about your Whippets!!

I wanted to adopt a bunny from them. However, it has a companion and they didn't want to separate them. The other bunny bites and would hurt someone badly especially a child. However, I said I'd adopt them both since I have rabbit experience and would just be careful around the one that bites. Everything seemed fine until I filled out the paperwork. I mentioned I had 3 elderly cats, 2 cockatiels, and 2 young Shetland Sheepdogs. I have a large home and they are taken well care of. The cats are fixed but the dogs are not because they are show quality and we want to breed them. All have all vaccinations and we spend probably an average of $2000 a year on vet care, food, dog classes, and toys. Most importantly, they are all loved and given constant attention. I was denied because my dogs aren't "altered" even though a rabbit is a separate species. I was told if I could prove they were show dogs that I could get the rabbits but we haven't shown them yet! Isn't this wrong?

i've been taking care of these 2 cats for a week now. but i've started to get really itchy. i have like a rash on my chest, random spots on my stomach, and on my left outer thigh. i noticed when i'd go to my friend's house (their owner) i'd feel itchy as well. i don't think they're fleas because cats are indoor cats and she's never had a problem (as far as i know). when i'm in my car or my bedroom (never let them in there), i'm alright, but after being near them or having them in the same room as me for a while. i have to make them leave the room, because i get itchy!!! i've had fleas bites before when i was little and played outside alot. do you think its the hair or fleas?! and what can i do? :(
