Bull Terriers, especially white ones, are prone to skin problems.
Take him to the vet and have a look at this site where you can probably get in touch with other Bull Terrier owners if you need further advice

For piece of mind it would probably be a good idea to take your dog to the vet.
There can be numerous causes ranging from allergies through to mites.
It might just be an auto grooming thing but if the skin is constantly wet then you are likely to have further problems in the future.
Whilst it wont help to stop the licking- there is a great product called Angels eyes which will stop the fur turning red (if this is a problem or you if you have red tear stains) http://www.bichonhotel.co.uk/cms/angelseyes

English Bulls are prone to skin problems - especially those with a lot of white fur and pink skin.
Sounds like she has an allergy to something either in your house or in your yard (or wherever she goes for walkies).
Your best bet is to speak with your vet. She may never get over the sensitivity - but with careful attention, you may be able to ease the itch and help control any minor skin infections she develops.

Grooming in dogs can be a sign of stress, have you changed anything lately? anything stressful around the dog? Could be mites or fleas or some chemical or irritant she was exposed to. I don't know about English Bull Terriers (although I love them) and whether they are prone to particular things but if it persists I would seek advice from your Vet.

My Staffordshire Terrier gets an allergy in the Spring which makes her chew her feet something chronic. Anti-inflammatory tablets from the vet always help, and the allergy only lasts for a few weeks. Your vet is the best person to ask, at the very least they can give your dog medication to help relieve her irritations.

hi honey i have bull terriers and my old dog had problems with her skin and paws, bull terriers are prone to skin problems and we spent years treating our dogs skin condition, we found that on the paws if you keep her claws short this sometimes helps, we also used to bath our dog in tea tree oil once a week and this also seemed to help you can also get hibbiscrub from the chemist to bath her in, before you try anything just pop her to the vet and get it checked out, sometimes a course of synyalox antibiotics is helpful, if she is given the all clear then try the regular baths our dog always picked up after this, good luck with this problem it is hard but you can make a difference to your dog, sorry forgot to add yesterday that we have found that using carpet freshners like shak and vac irritate the paws if you use these sort of products stop using them and see if it makes any difference.
