Loaches! Many Catfish have more than a pair, but most Loaches only have 1 pair of Barbels (Yo-yo, Clown, Kuhli, etc.).

Koi have barbels, and some types are considered "scaleless." They are also called "leather" or "doitsu" koi. Without a picture, it's hard to say.....
