I just got a kitten the other day. I have never had a kitten before because I have been allergic to them my whole life so I know nothing about them.
Lately in the morning after my finace leaves for work and I am still in bed he will crawl into bed with me and start kneading the part or my neck that meets my back. At first I thought it was cute but he has nails and it hurts.
Why does he do this?

He always gets a tablespoon of cottage cheese and ground dog food in the morning. We leave him food through out the day but he hardly eats it. We tried 3 different foods, he likes them for a few weeks but then he doesn't like them anymore.

He likes to bite people now. He never did that before, but I took him to the vet and he didn't have rabies, or any other disease; but it seems like as of late he has gotten very aggressive? He is neutered by the way.

When a pitbull attacks someone and it hits the news, the media always show pictures of a raging Pitt, snarling and foaming at the mouth etc. Do they make good pets, or are Pittbulls like that ?

Sorry for inconvenience just had to share a bit of history abt it. I complaint to the fish farm and to cut the story short managed to get them to compensate me with medication. The man at the counter dont really speak english. He gave me a kg of salt and a packet of 'yellow powder' to pour in my pond. The packet only has japanese text on it thus I dont know what it is. However I did as advised. My kois are all better now and active. The water is yellowish due to the powder.

a) What is that powder?

b) Been two days now. I hadnt change the water since i poured in the salt and powder medication. There are lotsa bubbles forming at the water surface. They look like bubblenest. What causes this? Is this harmful? Shd I be changing the water?

1- Should I put anything into the water to make them healthier? Or just plain water from the faucet?
2- When I change a portion of the fish tank water weekly, is it a good idea to boil the new water to kill all the germs or not? Ofcourse I am going to leave the boiled water for a few hours to cool down. I am just wondering if the procedure of boiling the water safe and useful or not.
3- Is there any kind of home food that I can give to the Guppies? I buy that stuff from the guy at the pet store, I was just wondering if there is anything else , like fruits or vegetables, that I can give to them.
4- What is the best food that can be given to baby Guppies?
5- How much is a Guppy fish in America? I was just wondering since I am not from America. I live in Egypt.

The thing is I have a 72 gallon salt water fish tank that I had gottenas a gift. He came and set it up and when we put my fish from my smaller fish tank in to the larger the shrimp died and then the damsels started to nip at the other fish. I the bought a sand sifter and an angle fish once I had removed the damsel that is but soon after the angle fish started to do the same thing to the sand sifter. Then out of no where I woke up and the angle fish was dead. So we did a water change to get rid of the toxicants that may cause future death. we also got a gray angle to re place the other angel fish when we went away for 2 days and my friend came to feed it, it was dead. During this whole time we had 2 mandarin gobies that were doing great up until last night when I woke this morning I found one of them dead and can’t find the other. I have thought of everything I even got a top of the line protein skimmer also I check everything everyday the timp, ph, the ammonia, the nitrates,what next?

At the moment i have a male Betta in my tank along with tetras, danios and some other small fish. I am getting 3 new females soon. Will they all be ok in a 60 litre tank together? im not worried too much about whether they will breed or not just any pointers? if this a good thing to do or not?

I have 2 birds I brought to my home in MA from VT. I also have 2 birds of my own, and am currently babysitting the VT birds while my parents are gone. They all seem to get along GREAT! Play together, eat together, groom each other, etc. But the last few days I noticed that one of the VT birds (the only female out of the 4) climbs in her food dish and kicks her food out behind her. I am not sure what's going on - they all get along great during the day! Any help would be appreciated!
