1- Should I put anything into the water to make them healthier? Or just plain water from the faucet?
2- When I change a portion of the fish tank water weekly, is it a good idea to boil the new water to kill all the germs or not? Ofcourse I am going to leave the boiled water for a few hours to cool down. I am just wondering if the procedure of boiling the water safe and useful or not.
3- Is there any kind of home food that I can give to the Guppies? I buy that stuff from the guy at the pet store, I was just wondering if there is anything else , like fruits or vegetables, that I can give to them.

1. Most people say you should use filters, heaters, and pumps but i just have an aeration tube and i add chlorine drops (to take out the chlorine).

2. Its not neccesary to boil water, just use water that is similar in temperature to the water you have in the tank currently and add chlorine drops!

3. You can give them baby brine shrimp and small bits of celery and bread, as long as it fits in their mouth.

4. ? i dont know that one!

5. At petsmart and walmart its 1.39 for a female and around 2.50 for a male.

1&2. Use a declorinator for your tap water as directed on the bottle, I use "Aqua Safe" (don't know if you can get something like that in your country), but it makes the water safe for your fish and don't boil the water before you use it

3.Not really

4. either grinded flake food or "First bites"

5. they are about $1-$3 each

Hope that helps
Good luck

1) you can buy stuff. we don't we just use tap water but let it sit for a day or two in a bucket so the chlorine evaporates
2) doesn’t do that either, but depending on how they treat your faucet water you might want too
3) we like cheese and chocolate or crumbs from what ever
4) we use shrimp pellets, used to use blood worms but thy are expensive and mess up the tank a lot
5) depends on your guppy but thinks they are cheep
