I have been feeding it to her for probably a week. She looks good, and looks like she is getting bigger. Is this safe and has anyone else tried it?

He is two years old. He was abused since birth. He is very shy and jumps at sudden movements. He is getting more trusting after having him for 4 months.

I have two Shelties one (1year) 35 pounds and one (4 months) 17 pounds. Can I use a heartworm pill that is in-between their weights like one for 11-25 pounds? So I could use the same pill for both? And...which heartworm preventative is the best? (for shelties?) Thanks!! :)

I can't tell if my 7 wk puppy(half poodle and half tibetan terrier mix) is having hiccups or if something more serious is happening. She seems to be fine, just as playful but when she is having this problem her eyes get sad looking. it doesn't even last a minute just a couple of seconds. Can someone describe for me a puppy hiccup?

Can we use alcohol swab to disinfect wounds in parakeet?

I asked in another question about using neosporin to treat wounds. As an after thought I realized I have alcohol swabs as well but yahoo answer wouldn't allow me to change my earlier question hence I am posting this one.

I would like to know whether I can use an alcohol swab to wipe the wounds on my parakeet (before applying neosporin or whether I apply neosporin or not) to disinfect if necessary. My parakeet is a new mom that laid and hatched 3 eggs so far (4th might hatch today or tomorrow).

Thanks.

My husband found a rabbit in our yard before he got in our car to go to work. It was someone's former housepet. I posted a message in a local forum and finally about an hour ago i got this reply from someones neighbor... I can only assume that the person who just abandoned this creature lives a duplex or two away from me. :(

"My neighbors were unable to care fo rthe rabbit and
let him go outside.. they won him at the county
fair... it is yours if you want him. Very friendly."

I have had my cat for nine years. Recently he has gotten scabs from scratching his back and neck. He doesn't have fleas and he is inside only, any thoughts on what is causing these scabs?

Almost like a dog barks or a kitten meows. Sounds like those that come naturally

My husband and I went to the humane society today to look at a white german shepherd dog who is one year old, abandoned they were asking $150 for him. I spent half an hour with the dog walking, sit and other commands. They said they would give him to me, otherwise, they are putting him down in two days (euthenasia). I would like to get him. The girl said they were getting 2 golden lab mixed with golden retreiver puppies tomorrow. What should I do? Convince my hubby to get the shepherd? or let him get the pup?
