If you have a pet hamster is it true that rats can smell them and will be brought to your home ?

ok my devil fish just had like around 200 baby fish yesterday,im really happy but i have like 40 different kinds of fishes in there and most of them eat meat and advice on caring for this

I have an 8 month old black lab mix...i came home yesterday from work and he had thrown up/had diarrhea in his crate...and he's been having diarrhea all morning and thrown up a couple times...does anyone know what would cause this and have any ideas to help him feel better?

I accidentally hit a cat 20 years ago when I first started my job, I was tired and the cat ran out in front of my car and I didn't see it until I felt the thump, I felt bad for weeks. I went around the block to get it out of the street and it freaked, then it died. I was not myself for a while. Please no anti-animal statements, thanx in advance. I still feel bad.

Well I have a pet bird thats endangered here in my country, I take real good care of it, been alive and strong for 4 yrs now and still is!

My dad bought it from some suitable looking pet shop,We didn't know that it was endangered till I researched it off the net. xD

I wanted to set it free, but seeing it lost all its animal instincts and was a bit domisticated since he didn't bit me when i pet him and could only fly a few feet high even though he's perfectly healthy(I usually set him free in my room xD) I decided to keep him.

i wuv him so much, should I be guilty, knowing that his specie might be extinct in the next few decades? O.o

I Just bought my first home and I need some help. I have owned fresh water tanks before.Only 10 gallon tanks. I want to buy a new tank for my living room.I do not have kids, its just me and my wife. I need some input on saltwater or fresh water tank?I have owned Oscars,african cichlids,neons,bettas but never saltwater. I have a male dog who does not have Demodex Mange but his mother who has no visual signs of it has passed it on to some of her offspring.

I was wondering, if I bred the male (with no sign of the mange but is from the mother who passed it to some of her offspring) with another female who does not have the mange, would the offspring from that litter have mange or chances of it? Also would the female that the male was bred with catch mange from the breeding?

Keep in mind that the male has no visual signs of Mange at all.
