hello there
when your dog be close to the hose tell him no and dont be nice with him but dont even hit him because that will make him hate you . and when you see him playing in the garden without eating the hose give him some good word like good boy .and pls pls pls tell me this is the best answer

Every time you take him to the vet or do something else to your dog that he doesn't like, show him the hose first.

um... odd question.. just speak to him in a strong voice when he does it and when he dosent to it give him a treat and pat him. He'll learn that not eating inanimate objects gets him rewards
