Firstly my sympathies to the families of those who were murdered today in Omaha. I always wonder when these horrible incidents occur as to what will it take for us Americans to get serious about the gun control debate. After such atrocities we tend to blame everyone and every thing other than the number of guns that are in our country. Yes I know that many gun owners are very responsible people but that still does not change the fact that every year so many innocent people die here due to gun violence. So what will it take? There has to be a number that will upset even the most devout supporter of the NRA, again most of whom are probably decent, responsible, patriotic people. So what is it, 50, 80 high school kids, 100 people doing their holiday shopping at the mall, 60 kids going to classes at college. What will it take? I'd like to hear your opinions. It sadly took the deaths of 16 kids in Scotland for the UK government to impose strict gun control. We must also have a limit.

I know one was the gunman who killed himself, but if you have a source with the actual names of the other 8 that'd be really helpful.

This Special Survey needs to be mailed back to them in a self addressed postage paid envelope.* I would like to hear from everyone who received one and mailed it in or will be mailing it in.* Help FIGHT BACK against Politicians who would try to BAN OUR GUNS and AMMO.* IT has happened already in Canada, Australia and Great Britain... " I would rather die on my feet than, live on my knees." How about the rest of you?

Candyrose is an independant internet poster who is a very reliable source. Her information on the Ramsey case was precise.

She has now taken on the Stacy Peterson case. I checked out all the people that she lists on this page that have mysteriously died or disappeared from Drew Peterson's inner circle. As far as I can tell, these reports are not just speculation.

"Mother Nature feels the pains of divorce
By RANDOLPH E. SCHMID, AP Science Writer | Posted Tue Dec 4, 2007 3:48pm PST "

This article says when people divorce they use two households, fuel uses double, and it goes on and on. What a crock of poo.
If people were NOT married they would live in separate homes, and use their own fuel etc. Obviously, these writer is just sounding off, and stating an unsupported, undocumented emotional tirad.
What do you think?

I've seen fear make people smarter, more focused, and driven. I've also seen it make people reactionary, cowardly, and naive. What accounts for the difference? I'm sure you could call the difference "courage", but i'm hoping y'all can shed a little more light on things.

Priorities don’t get much more twisted. A country that can’t find the money to provide health coverage for its children, or to rebuild the city of New Orleans, or to create a first-class public school system, is flushing whole generations worth of cash into the bottomless pit of a failed and endless war.

Just curious what you all thought. Everyone has sighed in relief that the "Teddy Bear" teacher is back home on British soil. But Britain is home to a large number of extremists. How safe is she really? The death warrant (sorry I don't recall what it's named) against Salman Rushdie comes to mind.

The haters on here keep on about what dreadful parents Kate and Gerry McCann are, but I've seen worse in my local High Street: parents smacking thier children; feeding them junk; leaving them by the magazines while they do their shopping; shouting at them for no reason; driving them around without safety seats let alone safety belts; children as young as 5 or 6 travelling on buses alone; the list goes on...

If you are so concerned about child neglect why not volunteer some of your clearly abundant free time to do something to help real cases of neglect and abuse?

Here's a few suggestions to be going on with:

Morticians Strip for Calendar

Barton, 22, is "Mr. March" in the 2008 Men of Mortuaries calendar. The calendar's catch phrase: "These are just a few of the things that we do with our suits off."

"I'm kind of shy about it," said Barton, who is pictured in cowboy hat and jeans, but no shirt, standing next to a horse. "But my family all think it's great."

A student at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, Barton was at school one day when a secretary got a brochure seeking applicants for the calendar. She told him he was entering. He was surprised when he made the first cut for 25 semifinalists. Then the applicants' real work began: dieting, exercising and tanning, so they didn't look like corpses. The calendar hopefuls were up against some stiff competition for the final 14 spots.

*** yeah I'll bet the competition was stiff...hehhehee****
