1. Emphasis on economics and education By this I mean someone who puts importance on improving the economic situation with a good agenda, perhaps with an emphasis on lowering the deficit. The economy is almost always at the top of my priority list. Education is also important and I feel that we are moving away from it with Bush. 2. Charm With charm comes oratory skills. I think Obama has the most charm of all the candidates so far. Although charm seems sort of superficial, it makes me feel more confident with who's in power. 3. Intelligence, throughout their career Bush and Kerry did horribly at Yale. All I know is, the president of this country should be someone who excelled throughout their life. This is huge; as charming as a president is, they will lead this country in a bad direction if they are not educated and intelligent. I want someone who took their education seriously. 4. Not religious / religious, but does not stress their religiosity I do not approve of how religious Bush is, as I think it has played an important role in many of his decisions. How can you let something as subjective as religion affect important personal decisions? I want a president who is going to make sure church and state NEVER separate. 5. Someone who wants to lower the burden of college costs I'm getting hurt by college loans ;)

Must know the Constitution, should learn the treaties entered into by the USA. Should know how Congress and the Senate work. Should hire a cabinet that has knowledge of all the foreign governments and their history (middle East) in particular. Must have top quality advisers on all the different Religion. Should make decisions for the betterment of the USA and not just focus on his personnel agenda.

I want a president thats NOT AFRAID to defend his country! And as long as its not obama or hillary and for the most not a liberal I would be more apt to support him. I want someone thats honest and does the right thing. I want a pres that puts funding into the military, not a liberal!

The ability to make the tough decisions and stand by them...the sign of a good leader is someone who makes an unpopular decision because it is for the greater good....not to cave into politcal pandering...even if that means being unpopular with the uninformed...

To turn more power over to the United Nations.
Use a world court to solve problems rather than a war.
Make sure all the other countries agree with the steps you are about to take. We don't need a hot dog in the white house who feels he is the decider and the only one affected by his decisions. Get someone who is willing to listen to others.

The economic elites, who have complete control over almost all the media consumed by Americans, as well as our pathetic school system, will never allow a truly honest, Constitution respecting candidate to be viewed as an "electable" candidate.

Integrity...Strong leadership abilities...Strong desire to make our country great again...Some one who will not use the position for personal and corporate gains...I believe our next president must have served in the military so they will understand the ramifications of sending our troops to do battle in foreign lands.

A high moral standard he or she lives up to. Personal integrity not readily laid aside. Great support on Capitol Hill that has stood the test of time. Common sense.
JUST BE A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA, NOT OF THE GREEDY HIDDEN AGENDAS SO MANY POLITICOS HAVE. Someone who is in charge of the support they get, not the other way around.
Ahhh, thanks, I needed that.- a space to air my view. Thanks.
