Most of your list include characters that many people feel portray minorities such as Blacks and Hispanics, etc as negative racial stereotypes. These people who are so offended seriously think that others will generalize about all minorities based on seeing these characters on tv and in the movies. Apparently they don't believe the rest of us have enough brains to figure out that Speedy Gonzales, the Cream of Wheat guy, and the Taco Bell dog AREN"T REAL and don't represent actual living human beings or any one's culture.
