Let's answer your questions one at a time. It shouldn't be the responsibility of the government to bail out those who choose to have children when they can't afford it. But since you brought it up, any parent can take their child to any public hospital and get medical treatment. If they can't afford to pay for it, the hospital will write it off. Thats why I have to pay rediculous prices for my medical treatment, to cover those who are irresponsible.
The public schools are horrible because the teachers can no longer legally control the children who choose to misbehave. These problem children stir up the rest of the kids and soon, nobody is learning anything and no decent teacher wants to put up with the abuse. You can throw all the money you want to at the education problem but until a teacher or a parent can MAKE a kid sit down and listen, nothing will change.
Before we throw any more money at New Orleans, let's ask the State of Louisiana and their wonderful governor to provide an accounting for the more than $8,000,000,000.00 in missing funds that the Federal government gave them. The City of New Orleans is below sea level and common sense tells those who have any that one day, the sea will win. Those who choose to live in hurrican or flood prone areas must accept the risk that they will lose everything if they don't but adequate insurance or move.
The war cost a lot of money but every dead terrorist is one less we will have to deal with later when it will cost more to do what we better finish now.

Everyone realizes that. Something else you may not know but look it up don't take my word for it.
America furnishes free health care to all Iraq citizens.
Billions is spent on rebuilding work done on buildings that the insurgents blow up. Only to see them blown up again when the troops leave to rebuild else where.
They have opened up schools in Iraq and the women are now given an education. Which is all good.
However, the one thing they have not been able to over come and probably never will. Is they hate each other.
they hate Jews and they hate anything western. They are abusive to women and little girls. That is their culture and they are not going to change.
think about it, they arrested a women who was gang raped and she was killed. Or tortured to death. Usually they are burried alive. When the insurgents goes into a villiage they gang rape the women, from tiny girls to old ladies.
anyone who has been raped is now Korban or defiled and has to be burried alive. So they allow the unspeakable acts of their enemys to make them do further acts of injustice.
In a culture like that do you think sending a young women to school is actually going to make her life better?
Or free health care when her husband legally beats her almost to death.
They have a surplus of women from years of war. They just got out of an 8 year war between Iran and Iraq.
For the USA the 10 year war in Viet Nam was its longest war ever faught. they have been fighting since the beginning of time. That culture is not going to change over night.
Think about it, a respectable teacher the wanted to get 40 lashes and 6 months in jail which translates into a death sentence for the nameing of a teddy bear.
Is building a school and provideing health care going to change their life?

It is costing taxpayers $100,000 a minute. Every minute. Twenty four hours a day. Seven days a week.
If this was a righteous war, that cost would be an unfortunate cost that we would have to absorb somehow. It is not. It is a war of choice that will take generations to pay for. Children that aren't even yet born will someday be paying for Bush's folly.

Everyone is mad about it! It's a pity that still by this time we still got presidents that do almost whatever the want and what is ironical is that this is a free country and they want all the world to be democratic!
This country could be even better if they don't put their noses in something that has nothing to do with them ! and of course that what they say '' war on terrorism '' but instead is '' war on petroleum!

without your freedom all of that would not even exist. iraq harbors terrorists. terrorists that hate us and want us all dead, remember 9/11, how easily we forget. provide healthcare for your own children, its not my job or the governments job. new orleans knew they were in danger and ignored it, so lets blame it on bush. First class public schools system? its up to communities to make this happen. Big Government sounds nice to you now, but when it happens (god for bid) youll be eating your words.

Oh, yeah, they can twist their priorities even more. Did you know the government is planning on giving Mexico 1.4 billion (that's right...billion) dollars to upgrade their military, law enforcement, and surveillance, supposedly to fight drugs and help control illegal immigration? Yeah, sure. All I can say, is when it comes election time, don't go getting amnesia and keep voting the same dorks back into office.

600 billion dollars and counting, and the President is "scolding" Congress today as we speak because they don't want to give "him" more money. Most people are blaming our economy all on the housing crisis, I say they also need to look at our basic failure in Iraq.
