Who thinks the media ought to get over Paris and start focusing on the real issues in the world? G-8 meetings? War on Terror? Immigration bill? None of these issues have had more air time combined then Ms. Hilton and her very pathetic jail time.

I was wondering if any one else thinks the sherrif that let her off took somekind of bribe? There was alot of opposition even from the judge. for this sherrif to do this just seems fishy.

Hey why is it the media always demonises priests but when they are falsely accused the story never makes the front page?

Dublin, Jun. 7, 2007 (CWNews.com) - An Irish man has been convicted of making false allegations that a Catholic priest molested him.

After several hours of deliberation an Irish jury voted 10-2 to convict the man of making false statements to police, after viewing a videotape in which the man confessed that he had not been molested and apologized to the priest he had accused. The accuser later said that he had been pressured to retract the charges.

The name of the man making the false accusation was not made public, on a request from his legal counsel, who argued that the accuser should not be identified since the court had not released the name of the priest he accused.

The accused priest had been suspended from pastoral duty after the man charged that he had been molested in1981.

Wouldn't it be a lot better, more accurate to the issues and candidacies, if the candidates themselves posed the questions to each other and answered directly to each other.
Isn't that what debating is about?
The debaters debating not only the questions but deciding which issues are important to them and contrasting themselves to the others on those issues?
Why should Tim Russert, Hannity and their ilk decide what issues will be discussed and debated?

It doesn't seem to matter if you are from the North, South, East or West , Blue State or Red State the voters seem to be united on this issue.
However our Representatives in Washington are pushing this deal through.
