Violate her probation,( THEN HER MOMMY THOUGHT SHE WAS ABOVE THE LAW AND SAID TO THE JUDGE )"my little paris has done no wrong) Hey all America if you were charged with a DWI would you just get a few days in jail and all this publicity.HELL NO we would be locked up and throw away the key She will now hire a chauffeur and let everyone know I have money, The media makes these people superstars by their mug shots and their stay in jail poor me.
how about all the family's killed by drunk drivers. this is a media spectacle that the Hilton family loves.

She repeatedly drove while under the influence. She had her license restricted (to work & back), but she kept driving wherever she wanted & drunk driving. Paris then had her licence taken away from her entirely, but still kept drinking & driving. She pretty much showed & said things that said she didn't really care for the law, since she figured that with her money, power, & celebrity she'd get off easily.

Add to that bit that she whined about how "unfair" it was, & treated the entire bit like it was another part of her reality show, & I think that showed the judge that she needed to go to jail for a while.

If it were you or I that repeatedly drove drunk, we'd have been arrested the first time it happened, & we'd have had our licenses permanently revoked. Just remember, for every one time that you hear about a celebrity like Paris getting pulled for drinking & doing drugs & driving, there are 10 times that she got out of it b/c she was a celebrity. Would you feel safe with a repeat drunk driver driving in your neighborhood, or around your friends & family? Sure know I wouldn't.

she had total disregard for the lives of other road users by driving under the influence, after she had been placed on probabtion for doing the same .. and the stupid selfish cow got caught and she deserves to serve time.

I wonder how many people who defend her would feel if she ,while under the influence of drugs, had of caused an accident that killed a loved one.

her fame and her celebrity should not be an excuse for poor behaviour

She violated her parole, which was on a drunk driving conviction in 2006.

That's a double whammy. Drunk driving is a felony. Parole violations have the effect of repeating the offense.

she broke her probation. she was given a chance to behave and she ignored it. and the judge was in is right and from the outcome, he was not in a good mood that day, for whatever reason. he was within his jurisdiction.
