It doesn't seem to matter if you are from the North, South, East or West , Blue State or Red State the voters seem to be united on this issue.
However our Representatives in Washington are pushing this deal through.
What do you think is going on?

They have always done what they wanted to do anyway. It upsets me and I think we need to have a major revolt. Not just for this issue but many others. How can they hold us responsible for voting certain people in office when they do whatever they want anyway?

Illegal immigrants are labor source to keep wages low. that is all immigration has ever been. A growing population generates economic growth and allows a country to expand and expound its interests beyond its borders. All empires must solve the manpower problem either by conquest, enslavement, reproduction or immigration. This country has used all of them.
Were we to stop illegal immigration (and it aint hard) wages would go up and corporate profits would go down until things balanced out again depending on growth/demand variables.
In EU illegals cannot get legal housing, medical help or any social services...not many want to stay under those circumstances for some reason. Treaty obligations, sometimes from the 19th century allow immigration to people from certain countries but otherwise good luck going there for work.
I am liberal in many ways and utterly oppose the Iraq war but on immigration I think we need to shut down and stop "economic migration" it only serves the interests of the owners.

The ONLY thing the voters are "united" on about this issue- is that SOMETHING needs to be done. From that point on, our Elected Officials are acting EXACTLY like the rest of us; they can't agree on WHAT. The Issues at stake here- are HUGE; WHAT to do about the porosity of our 2,000 mile border with Mexico?; WHAT to do about the 12 million plus illegals aready living here?; and WHAT to do about all the upheaval & injustice there's GOING to be- come whatever decision that's eventually made? The Deal on the table in D.C. now- is NOT going to pass. NOR is the one after it. -OR the one after THAT. It's going to be up to the NEXT President- to sit down with BOTH sides of Congress AND the American People, and work out some kind of plan. AND, judging from the passion & complexity of the Immigration Issues, alot of people are NOT going to like THAT deal- either.

confident I agree. The illegals invasion. no rely how many situations you define criminal vs unlawful extraterrestrial beings, Democrats in Congress pass into their socialist spiel approximately human rights, jobs human beings won't do and all the different claptrap. in spite of everything, they like those votes from illegals balloting. If one listens, I propose incredibly listens to the garbage out of the mouths of "liberal" Democrats approximately illegals, all of it boils right down to endorsing and useful foreigners who smuggle themselves into our u . s . a ., committing a criminal act interior the approach. that's what Democrats in Congress prefer to reward precise alongside with the RINOs serving in that corrupt physique of lawbreakers. If human beings who belong to the Democratic occasion might in simple terms take a while to comprehend the money path, how the end results of their hard artwork is being stolen and handed over to the worldwide banking cartel, they might boot out each Democrat in Congress and replace them with constitutionalists and actual statesmen.

I have some formed impressions about the office and those in congress. And the White house resembles an over sized microphone. But that's not your question.
