Kiyan prince was only 15 when he got stabed in the heart by a 17 year old who two years above him. He got stabbed while trying to stop a fight and the 17 year old stabbed him becasue he was jealous of his popularity with the girls. This was such a stupid reason and such a horribel crime. Theres no need for guns and knives. This 17 year old killed a talented young boy who was a good footballer and one day was going to play for a premiership club and the england team, no doubt. PUT THE KNIVES AND FUNS AWAY! STOPPING KILLING, HURTING EACH OTHER!!!

Category 1 -- Presidential Pardons

The vast majority of Americans disagree with the obviously-politically-motivated commutation of Scooter Libby’s jail sentence, and properly regard it as a mockery of our criminal justice system.

Well, it may be too late to undo this miscarriage of justice in Libby’s case – but WE the PEOPLE **have** the power to prevent it from happening in the future!

Recognizing the fact that almost ALL Presidential pardons and commutations are politically-driven (which is why they are granted, in all but a very few cases, when a President is **leaving** the White House, and thereby can’t feel the sting of the people’s backlash), WE need to DEMAND Congress to introduce, pass, and put to the states for ratification a **Constitutional Amendment** that RESCINDS Presidential authority to grant pardons and commutations, with the sole exceptions of death penalties.

When the wars are over....then maybe.

When everyone has access to health care....then maybe.

When racism no longer exists...then maybe.

When our children no longer feel the need to bring guns to school...then maybe.

Celibrating now with so many things wrong is like the President being on that Aircraft carrier saying mission accomplished.

Just curious if you think anyone in Bush's office (i know he probably wont look at each one himself) will take a gander at the 3000 currently active requests for clemency & pass onto him the ones that seem worthy?

Do you think any of the 3000 could be as worthy of clemency as Libby, in the president's mind?

Do you think there will be a continued non-effort to decide if any of the requests have merit?

I'm not looking for bashing answers. Whether you are pro or anti Bush might be good to include with your answer.... but I'm looking for answers that are not completely bashing of Bush or the "limp wristed liberals" .

thank you

A list of all countries successfully stopped from, or unsuccessfully stopped from nuclear capability would be very interesting.

Is it fair that countries like Canada, France, and the US should benefit from nuclear power plants and then deny these same benefits to Iran? We are allies with countries that have nuclear capability and energy such as Israel, India, Pakistan. I think a decision should be made to offer Iran cheap energy in exchange for their cooperation in ending their nuclear program and allowing inspectors in.

do they think that they can just do whatever they want and the people will listen without resistence. To impose their will like they know whatès best for the middle east. Like Ronald Reagan said, the people in the middle east have a backwards logic compared to those in the west. I would think that it would just make things worse with more hate and resentment. Isnèt it best to just stay out out middle eastern affairs. Only trade but nothing else. Osama Bin Laden even said thatès why they attacked the U.S, because of the stuff like their doing now.
