So, for the massacre at VT, it is not the guns fault, not the shooters fault, not even the gun manufacturers fault, it is the fault of the parents of the victims for voting for legislators who voted for the Iraq War! So I called it, in an answer yesterday I blamed Bush twice for the massacre and now it would seem that the left has really followed up on it. These anti-Semites over at counterpunch remind me of those people in the middle ages who would blame everything from the death of their son, to being scalded by soup to be a sign from a vengeful God. Now instead of blaming God, they blame the Iraq War and Bush. Absolutely despicable.

"As soon as he started reading, the whole class started laughing and pointing and saying, `Go back to China,'" Davids said. (cited from Yahoo news)

Yet again another school shotting from bulling. It's wrong for him to take other lives but there's only so much someone can take. You have to feel sorry for both sides. I think schools needs to start doing something other than sitting back and watching these people get teased. Just because he was shy was no reason for anyone to knock him. What do you think?

1. Never, ever, belittle or tease people in a mean spirited way.
2. Go out of your way to be friendly to people.
3. If you notice someone is having a hard time making friends or socializing, try to befriend that person.
Any other suggestions?

Was releasing Cho Seung-Hui video succumbing to, indirectly, a domestic terrorist demand, since that is what he wanted. Should we have not published it?

Let me put this another way. You take a guy that has an ax to grind. Yes, he may have been mistreated (haven’t we all). He wants his day of reckoning. He want’s “everybody to hear his side of the story”. Well, this seemed to be an effective way of doing it, however horrific indeed. Will more insects with a need for infamous fame – so be it after death - follow his path?

I expect to hear all about freedom of speech, however, before you start up, please tell me where all the anti-war protesters are. Don’t we have about 32 kids the same age as the college student getting their heads blown off weekly in Iraq?

Ok, everyone is talking about school shootings this week. Doesn't the media know that it is the ATTENTION from the media that is the MAIN ATTRACTION for suicide shooters? This guy wanted to make a point. He already had decided to kill himself. The MEDIA attraction is what led him to bring others down with him. What would happen if the media would quit sensationalizing sick people?

If someone is feeling sad and lonely and "nobody likes me" enough to go shoot a bunch of people, with the idea that "after this everyone will know who I am", even to the point of making a premeditated video, why do we do exactly what they want? If we didn't give them the limelight after they go on their killing spree, would it lessen future attacks, if it is the standard that they will get no more attention for this than they do right now?

Why does it seem that the death of Anna Nicole Smith takes precedence over the deaths of hundreds of soldiers valiantly fighting against terrorism by roadside bombs?

In thinking about this, everytime a celebrity blinks, the world stops to take notice ... should we not be paying attention to far more important issues? Are we looking for a distraction from all the painful death and destruction or do we simply not care? Do we need to reexamine our priorities? And what does this say about our society?

I feel sorry for the families and students of the lost but I cant help but feel sorry for the gunman. Its just the amount of pain he must have been in to step over that line.

If we could, that Va. Tech. shooter could have been shot dead before he got to kill as many as 3 people....it never would have gotten as high as 32. Think about it.
In fact, a lot of other massacres could have been thwarted as well...simply because there would have been someone armed and SANE there to take out the shooter!
