"Cho" ... as in the Virgina Tech shooter.

It's really just his "buddies" who are calling him that and they actually are doing it to his face, not just behind his back.

His name is Kang and he's a really nice guy, but I don't know him very well.

Would you be offended if you were him? Or what if you just heard people calling him that?

When my friend told me about it (as if it were hilarious) I was pretty shocked/taken aback that people would consider that funny. I actually think it's pretty messed up.

What a shame.
Did you hear about the Professor who was a Holocaust survivor and was killed by this man, on Yom Hashoah (The day for remembering the Holocaust), That must mean something. Really what a shame. Why would he do that?

How many other people are apalled at NBC's decision to show the killers footage he shot between the shootings? Did it not give him the attention and noteriety he so badly craved? Does that not rip the hearts out of all those who knew and loved the victims? Does that not revictimize those who were spared? Though it is valuable for police, what value does it serve to the average public citizen? Will it not serve to inspire those with similar ideas who just have not chosen to act yet?

The article below talks about how the democrats are sucking up to Al Sharpton now, because he is so powerful to get Imus fired. It seems disgusting they would cow-tow to the biggest racist just to win a few votes. What do you people think about that?

Hey...um...I was just wondering something... I was watching the coverage on the fox news channel. Am I the only one that heard one of the reporters say "Ok, we have just been informed that the shooter is in custody." and then about five minutes later they announced that the shooter was dead?

Article:
"Virginia gunman Cho Seumg-Hui had endured years of bullying at school as a teenager, said former classmates of the man who carried out the massacre of 32 people before killing himself.
The classmates said Thursday that Cho had a difficult time in school. He was pushed around and laughed at over his shyness and the strange way he talked, they said.
One fellow high school graduate said Cho almost never opened his mouth and would ignore attempts to strike up a conversation.
Once in English class, students laughed at Cho as he read, telling him to “Go back to China.”
Another graduate said friends of hers who went to middle school with Cho recalled he was picked on. She said the friends told her that people were really mean to Cho, pushing him down and laughing at him."

I don't think bullying is the reason he snapped, but it caused Cho to detach more fr society and internalize anger/pain/hate to the point of insanity.

Sorry but if Cho was a psycho there would be no help that would make him normal, nor would any drug be 100% fail safe. Therefor either he should have been locked up when he was a child or he is not a psycho...What do you think?

I think they would, all black people will march down the street, saying " an innocent man victim of racism was fighing for his right" and they will take the campus and other students to court and all that. Do you think that will happend if Cho was black, why or why not?

I believe we have a duty to preserve the honor and dignity of those individuals effected on Monday. We can only honor these individuals , their family and friends, their colleagues and their brothers and sisters in nation by asking the difficult questions surrounding the decisions made by the University and Security personnel not to notify everyone on campus that they were in fact ( as they have admitted ) not 100% certain there was no gun man on the loose.
I've no wish to condemn the security personnel or the University staff....I've simply much less desire to see this on the news any time in the future. I therefore call on everyone to expand their understanding of what happened ...what went wrong ....how WILL we prevent this from happening in the future ......We are a thinking and willful scociety...We can and must be more careful and place at the center of our lives the Imagination for the better mechanisms of our safety...

OK-i know in the heat of the moment nobody is expecting it, and i probably would panic as well myself. But wouldnt the right thing to do if you are in a crowd-classroom or whatever and a gunman busts in shooting-wouldnt the smart thing to do be for everyone to charge him together, tackle him and take him down? Running away is only going to get you shot. Sitting there is only going to get you shot. Yeah, if everyone does fight back 2-3 might get shot, but it would have never been 30 something getting shot.
My advice....if by chance you are ever in a situation like this go down fighting. The first time a group fights back against a school or workplace shooter and takes the guns away from him just might make the next nut think twice about trying it.
I understand its easy for me to sit here and say all of this, but just think about it-the first room Cho went in-had 20 people charged him instantly he wouldnt have made it out. He might have killed a few people, but not 32.
Fight back!

I have been doing a lot of research into this and what I am reading is all pointing in that direction. Some even go as far as saying that the Antichrist will be the next king of Isreal. I also looked at bible codes which were confusing, but pointed toward President Bush and the year 2010 when an asteroid will hit the earth causing a great wave to rise up killing many. Has anyone else read any of this. I dont know what to think anymore. Anyone with any ifo would be appreciated. thanks!

TV networks are being criticized for airing Cho's video message. Some worry it glorifies his actions and could prompt copycat killers. On the other hand, the media has a mandate to broadcast the news and give its audience content they want. Read more: http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/reuters/070419/us/usreport_usa_crime_shooting_nbc_dc
