and please don't worry about tomorrow being 'national pot day' or whatever.. you can "celebrate" this "holiday" and still wear orange or maroon to show your support...

Thank you to all of you choosing to show your support. Even if it's as simple as wearing a ribbon.
And Thank you to Kittieashy for reminding everyone about the Columbine victums and that tomorrow will be 8 years remembering..

I have a presentation to give in class tomorrow, but I'm wearing a black skirt, maroon shirt, and orange earrings and an orange necklace.
I also managed to find a VT decal yesterday and I think I've figured out how to make a pin out of it.
It's a small thing, but I hope it gives them some idea that they have support. Our university has a scrapbook for students to sign and we plan to send it to them in a couple of weeks.
I put a message about Hokie Hope day in the R&S section, thanks for posting it here. I hope the word gets out!

I will wear my maroon sweatshirt. I would also like to add that tomorrow we all need to remember the Columbine massacre and the 13 innocent people killed there. Tomorrow will be the 8 year anniversary. What a sad week in history this will become!! I will keep families from both tragedies in my thoughts and prayers!

4 real no joke...I am going to walmart right now to buy something orange and maroon, hopefully a hokie t-shirt to show my support.
It is times like this when our country needs to come together to support a real cause and real people!

I have purchased orange and maroon ribbon already and made some ribbons for my family. I have also posted this message onto my myspace page to get the word out.

i made my own orange and maroon stuff. i took orange laynard and colored one maroon with sharpies bc i only found out like 2 hrs ago. and i already put it on my backpack so i wouldnt forgot n i made one set for my mom and brother and sister. so yea ill have my VA tech colors!!!!!

that's right national pot day 4/20at 4:20we must all be high what are you supporting vt for that school was a place to come and kill the students because you new they would be unarmed .

I spent a lot of time wearing orange during the times I've been incarcerated, and I don't find it's a good color on me. I don't know if I've ever worn maroon, but I have a spotchy red mark on my face called rosacea... does that count?
