Umm, I was wondering about the same thing...I think they're staying with some family to escape media but am not sure... Such an huge embrassment for the parents, they came to the United States to give this ahole a better life and this is how he shines their name. So many stupid people...

How would you feel? Awful? Sickened? Guilt-ridden? All of the above? Not only did their son die, but he died while committing an awful crime and taking innocent lives. How horrible can that be?
What help would the media hounds be? What interest would it be to the public? How would it prevent another tragedy?

There are rumors that as soon as they heard this, the father cut himself to death and the mother poisoned herself.
This is not true.
The Cho family has been quiet (as many families would be). No word from them has been recieved.

They should be left alone. Don't forget they are grieving too! They have not only lost a son, but they have to deal with what their son has done.
I feel sorry for them and I can only imagine the profound grief they are feeling right now.

No...my question from the beginning. And why aren't the media players telling us they tried to talk to the parents, but.... ? Why the total silence on that?

I wonder the same thing.
Here's my guess:
They are shocked at what happened.
They are terribly ashamed and embarrassed.
They are mourning the death of their son.
They are having to deal with the rest of America hating their son for what he did.

They are probably thinking, if only we had pushed him harder and pressured him more, maybe he would have turned out better. I know, this sounds callous, but I bet they pressured him a lot and ignored a lot of strange behavior.
