I feel so bad for his parents... what level of pain they must be going through now, knowing that so many other parents are suffering because of their son.

I think right now, everyone is trying to work through all the chaos, and in a few days or weeks there will be a lot of different issues that will get brought up, including the upbringing of the gunman.

its not the parents fault what their son did, you arnt going to get anywhere trying to get an appology out of them, besides everyone is sorry EVERYONE. The victims families are going to be upset reguardless and pointing fingers isnt getting us anywhere, the person responsible is dead and all we can do is help those who need it in this trying time and try to prevent more instances like this along with the deaths of millions of other undeserving people each year.

Why should they? They are in bits. This is a nightmare for them. The monster who carried out this massacre and ruined thousands of lives is their son. He has killed himself and ruined their lives aswell and they will NEVER get over this. He was an adult, to be held responsible for his own actions.

Put yourself in there place.
They are morning there lost child. He did a horrible thing. The guilt of being a parent of a killer. The guilt you did not help your child. The shame of it all. They have to be in shock. I feel for them.

I don't think it is their fault at all.He was a grown 23 year old guy and they did not shoot the victims.
However I do think they should appologise out of respect for the familys...

So it's their fault that their son decided to murder people? What is an apology or a public statement going to do? Make everything go away?
"Oh, we're sorry our son killed your son, let's be friends."
