It was all a part of his big plan. He committed the first shootings at the dorm and then made the video and sent it to NBC. He then committed the second shootings and ended it with shooting his own face off so it would take longer to be identified. He sent the video to NBC, so they would know who he was first and show it. Unfortunately, he sent it to the wrong address and they didn't get it Tuesday like they think he originally planned. They got it after he was actually identified. I think he did this to make sure that he got on the air. I think NBC should have said, "we got a video of the shooter but we are refusing to show it," then they should have just turned it over to the FBI. There is no way that the families can feel good about seeing they guy on National TV after he slaughtered part of so many families. I think NBC was wrong and they just gave him what he wanted and I am sure that there are other deranged people looking at it and drooling at the mouth in hopes of doing something like this themselves. I think that NBC is just adding fuel to a fire that needs to be extinguished and they should stop showing any parts of the video. Unfortunately, there are enough people out there that want to see it and NBC will get much higher rating for having shown it. So we are actually part of the problem.

I am highly disappointed that NBC would air this footage. The story could have been told without showing the video that he made. Cho got the exposure he obviously wanted to get and I don't think that's right. How many other troubled people are out there watching his video and getting crazy ideas? Who will be responsible if these people carry out their crazy ideas? Shame on you NBC! Will you also play their videos on National TV portraying themselves as martyrs too?

I am angry that they would show his video.
I think it might encourage some other freak to do the same thing or "copycat" what happened at Virginia Tech.
But, if NBC didn't release it, probably someone else would and they don't want some other network to get the scoop on them, do they?

Yes, but they are all whores.

The rest of the networks are acting all high but they are just jealous since they would have put it on too.

All media people are whores who are opinionated and slanted in their views. Bunch of degenerates!

I hate watching any of them. And that includes ALL of them! There used to be a time when it was a honorable profession, but not anymore!

yes, I am...but it is all about the "ratings"
I did not watch them, but the one news station I watched today showed it...and I was shocked. Now we all know what he was doing during those "two hours" I am tired of hearing about Cho...he has had way too much exposure. The media needs to
"back off"...but they won't. I don't want to hear anymore or see anymore about this
killer. I change the channel.

no...everyone really needed to know the inside story on this nut-case, hopefully it will help avoid this type of situation in the future...watching for signs of depression, loneliness or mental illness, starting with elementry school students (before they grow up and go on a rampage)

not at all ....I have watched the video a couple times now and it seems that he had felt bullied or something
then I found this.....http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070419/ap_on_re_us/virginia_tech_shooting
it's important to have all the information and needs to be taken into account so that we can figure out what is going on~ so that we can try and fix it
to prevent further tragedies like this
