As a citizen of San Francisco, my representative, Nancy Pelosi, who won with 80% of the vote, will become the new speaker of the house, and there is overwhelming demand from San Franciscans for her to impeach Bush (more than enough evidence supporting impeachment), and since she is our elected official and basically abides by the will of the people, do you think Bush will be impeached? My magic 8- ball says "All Signs Point To Yes."

The reason I ask is, Iraq is in civil war, Iraq is overran by zelous suicide bomers, Democracy cannot function with choas and religous fanatics. Anti-Clerical Millitary rulership that is secular would be probadle outcome to the Iraq war. The reality democray works better when people are not straving and killing eachother. Oppression is bad most times, but some the ends justify the means. Remeber leftist like communists did thier evil deeds, like Stalin, Mao.

It's like a real time spy novel. Now I start to believe that some of the spy fictions could well be happening for real without the world knowing. How interesting.

I realise that this isn't the ideal site for a serious and sensible question, but I'm going to take the risk of asking one anyway. I just wondered if anyone has personal stories of finding a missing friend/relative safe and sound, years after their initial disappearance.

The reason I ask is because I lost a very close friend... it's been 10 years. It's been almost 11 years since Mel disappeared. We didn't live far from one another, I should have been with her the night she went missing, but was ill so I couldn't go. Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever stop kicking myself for not having been there to stop whatever it was that happened.

I don't think we're going to find Mel now, it's been too long, but it's still very difficult to stop hoping. I never found out what happened but I'm determined to work it out somehow, for the sake of her poor family if nothing else.

Here's the background. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/2842645.stm

Since America's Jewish people seem to care more about Israel than the USA, why can't the Jewish people move back to their homeland?

Please believe me I'm not a bigot. In the past I had many jewish people tell me that they would rather flee to another country than fight for America. Why are the jewish people living here? Can someone explain this to me?

I have just watched the news on ITV and another girl has been found murdered in Ipswich. It looks like we have a RIPPER on the loose again killing young girls who it seems work as Prostitutes. Everyday we read of murders and peadophiles plying their evil deeds and it doesn't even make the front pages of the Newspapers any more.
Until these barbaric animals are treated the same as their victims they will carry on knowing full well that after a few years behind bars they will be free and sometimes too often to repeat the crime again. Hanging is the only solution an eye for eye.

Since 2006 is rapping up and 2007 is near, There are some stories or things that occur this year that was good or not so good. Just for discussion, please share something that occur in your area or around the world in 2006. It could be something you saw on t.v., about yourself, or as stated before, in your town.

I'll start first.

My home town Roanoke Rapids, N.C. has always been known to be a small deadend town. In 2006, this area is booming with economy. This area will be opening up a theme park by Randy Parton (Dolly Parton's brother) in 2007 and more restuarants, hotels, dept. stores, & people has relocated here. There are a lot of home subdivisions also. The only downside is the cost of living has increased. But I am proud.

The sad part about 2006 is our troops are still fighting and dying each day. I just wish it will end and they can be with their families.

Share your 2006 story

Another example of wating too long to administer justice(Pol Pot's so-called trial a prime example) Makes you wonder why do the U.N & nations wait till these former leaders are old & frail to finally make justice against them for committing crimes against humanity?
