As a citizen of San Francisco, my representative, Nancy Pelosi, who won with 80% of the vote, will become the new speaker of the house, and there is overwhelming demand from San Franciscans for her to impeach Bush (more than enough evidence supporting impeachment), and since she is our elected official and basically abides by the will of the people, do you think Bush will be impeached? My magic 8- ball says "All Signs Point To Yes."

I would prefer a regime change. If he was impeached, Dick would take over...

Despite all our hopes, No. You need 2/3 vote to impeach. If it was only a majority , imagine the problems we might have. President Democrat got caught with a traffic ticket and the Republican has a majority of the Senate and Congress. The point of this impeachment hearing is to find enough evidence so that Republicans must be force to vote for an impeachment (which is unlikely, because of all his staff has shown that they will fall on their sword) or they would just embarass the President like they did for Clinton.

No way will he be impeached because it takes a 2/3 majority vote to impeach a president. And that is almost impossible to get. Same reasoning behind it taking 2/3 popular vote or 2/3 of states to amend the constitution.

As a Canadian who remembers Watergate, I know that there are certain guidelines to the 'rules' of impeachment.
Unfortunately, the massacre of innocent civilians and/or starting a 2 trillion dollar war on the basis of personal reasons are not good enough reasons for impeachment.
If illiteracy was a crime though, he'd get consecutive life terms for being a shoo-in for 'Idiot of the Decade'.

Do what we do in Canada. Give them an undeserved pay raise, a huge retirement package for 4 years of worthless work, an incredible separation agreement, and pray they quit before they're re-elected.

Unfortunately, I don't think im'peach'ment is in the cards, but at least we can hope he gets plastered with 'tomatoes' and other rotten veges.

My heart goes to you, my good neighbours.

God Bless and thanks for reading.

It is hard to say if he will before his term is over. Here is a PDF file of the Articles of Impeachment filed by Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney:
