read, on the bbc web site the following: Kate McCann - mother of missing four-year-old Madeleine - will be formally declared a suspect by the Portuguese police, the family has said. Who thinks this is looking rather weired now.

Does anyone know when the case that occured last year of the 5 prostitutes murdered in Ipswich will go to court? I've heard nothing about it for a long time, mainly because I think people felt as they were prostitues there lives were worth less.
If you dont agree note that all the papers at the time stated that they were prostitues (dead prostitute found) never a dead girl/woman/person!

Why are there people who are Pro McCann? Who are these people? Where do they come from?

I know the McCanns have not been charged with anything, and innocent till proven guilty. But even the biggest McFan must admit something does smell fishy. No smoke without fire, i dont need to reel off the facts as im sure you are all aware.

And even if they are innocent they still left thier 3 beautiful young children alone, in an unlocked apartment, in a foriegn country.

How could you possibly be a McFan?

If the vatican has removed all mention of the McCanns is this wrong or right? I mean don't we as catholics (I was bought up one) say that God forgives sinners and that you can go to confession and absolve your sins for whatever you have done. It seems a bit naughty of the Vatican to distance themselves from a lamb of God who needs God's help at this stage. The Vatican should see it out they got involved they should not turn their backs on them now when the going is getting tough.

Just interested as when Robert Murat was a suspect lots of people I know were rubbing their hands with glee declaring him guilty and now it's the other way round a lot of people are now conveniently saying Kate McCann is innocent til proven guilty when they didn't give Robert Murat the benefit of any doubt.

So if she ends up in the slammer what excuses will you come up with then?
I'll start you off:

a) Miscarriage of justice
b) Witch hunt
c) Jealously as they are doctors.....

Kate a possible official suspect.

what do you guys think about this whole thing? I know she has not been proven guilty yet but you have to admit that it is a little strange that she was interviewed for 11 hours... and as a witness, what did she "witness" that needs to be explained for 11 hours? Do you guys really still believe that they are both completely innocent despite the sudden change of events?

The police said they were "satisfied" with the results...and then all of a sudden Kate and Gerry are hauled in seperately for "Witness questioning"...does such a thing even exist!!

Are you all still adamant that there is absolutely no chance in hell that they had anything to do with the disappearance of their daughter?

So I guess my real question is....are you all still THAT niave?

Good morning McFans......not long now.
As I recall - when Murat was named a Suspect lots of people asumed he was guilty ....did you defend him? especially as he was an aquaintance of the McCanns freinds. NO!

Why is Kate not guilty if she is now the same status?

Why would she not want to answer certain questions?
Surely she is suppose to be helping with enquiries.

Perhaps you are upset that you backed the wrong horse.

this is not a question but i cant be bothered answering questions individually, Kate is to become a suspect at 10.30 because the police need to ask her 22 questions about the night madeleine disappeared, they cannot ask these if she is bot declared a suspect! thats why this is happening, wise up they didnt kill their kids, u mccann haters will be disappointed when this is proven cos u will have no-one to slag off in yahoo answers anymore!!!

How being declered a suspect means anything more than being declared a suspect ?
Does it mean you have been charged, No
Does it mean you have been found Guilty, No
Having read some of the wildly speculative and frenzied accusations on here I think some people think it does.
Like I have all ways said, Innocent untill proven Guilty, I think you will find that is how it works, well in the real world it does, clearly not for a lot of people in the world of Yahoo Q&A.

The way Murat was treated and depicted by the press was terrible.

So, with that in mind, Kate has not been found guilty, but only named as a suspect like Murat. However tempting it is to point the finger and venom towards her and Gerry we should let due process happen.

Trial by court, not trial by public opinion.

I, as one of many, have never supported the McCann parents, I found their actions very questionable and because of which, me and others who beleive the same have been called several unpleasant names...

If the circumstances wasn't so tragic, it would call for an 'I told you so'

In short, those who have felt like I have right from the start, is this justice being served too overdue?

I told you so, why didnt you believe me when i told you so!
Ive been saying on here for months that the parents killed that little girl themselves, and cooked up this abduction crap to cover it up.
Now the parents are being questioned again, and reports are that an arrest is coming soon. 11 hours of questioning for the Mom, how much longer before she breaks?
So, who still thinks they are innocent? Who still thinks im nuts?
