read, on the bbc web site the following: Kate McCann - mother of missing four-year-old Madeleine - will be formally declared a suspect by the Portuguese police, the family has said. Who thinks this is looking rather weired now.

Natalie f. I agree with you, but they should of took the kids, its not a coice, you just do, , or got a carry out and eat on balcony, like everyone else does.

I agree, I thought it seemed rather strange at first too!
What parent would leave their child in an appartment in a differnet country without even locking the door. Fair enough they had to eat but could they not have just went out for a quick bite then came straight back instead of a full blown drawn out dinner?
She never looks terribly distraught either always sad but never really sobbin if that was me i would not be able to stand from crying.
Im not sure if they done it or not but I d know that Little maddy missing is a result of irresponsible parenting

I think they have always been a suspect, (most parents are when a child goes missing) it was just a matter for the police to find new evidence or of finding something to stick
