Seems odd he is not going to station untl 2pm so why didnt he drop her off at the station?

Well he certainly was on the video I saw - he was driving the car - got out to kiss Kate goodbye - got back in again and drove off, Kate had her sister with her for support - if the police intend to interview Gerry today they propably told him to stay away yesterday - who knows ?

That's certainly not for us to pass judgement on. We couldn't possibly know the individual circumstances, nor how we would react if put in a similar situation. Let's not forget, either, that the family has other children to care for and to think about. Perhaps they needed attention, or the family agreed it would be best for him to stay back, or their publicist told them it would generate less of a media frenzy if she drove vs. Gerry. Any number of possibilities.

He's probably preparing for his own visit to them due quite soon.
Don't start suggesting he has snubbed his wife, because that is just unbelievable.
In any case, they can't 'win' - someone will read something (wrong) into whatever they do.
