From Fox News:

"A popular comic strip that poked fun at the Rev. Jerry Falwell without incident one week ago was deemed too controversial to run over the weekend because this time it took a humorous swipe at Muslim fundamentalists.

...

"The Washington Post Writers Group syndicates "Opus," and the Post is the cartoon's home newspaper. The syndicate sent out an alert about the two strips in question, according to Writers Group comics editor Amy Lago...Lago said she flagged some of the syndicate's newspaper clients for two reasons: because of the possibility that the jokes about Islam would be misconstrued and because of the sexual innuendo in the punchline.

"Lago said she didn't flag newspapers about that strip because she didn't think readers would misunderstand the humor.

"'They're not going to take it seriously,' she said.

"But she did alert newspapers about the Muslim-themed cartoon because there was a question about whether Muslim readers would be offended.

OK a few questions... you don't need to anwer them all
1) is there still the threat of terroism and WMDs in Iraq that we are fighting for, or is the "goal" just to get a democracy now...in other words, if we were to pull out, what danger would we be in from iraq?
2) Wtih the US/UN troops still fighting there, what is their current state of government?
3)was there any truth behind the "dangers of terrorism and WMD" excuse for going to iraq?
4) in simple words, what are the two sides of the civil war in iraq?

please if I could have unbiased answers that would be great... add your opinion if you'd like but it would be great if you could first give me an answer that is all fact
Thanks

What happens to the Madeline McCann fund should it turn out the parents were involved with her going missing that night?

Does it get given back to people (if there is a record) or does it get used for something else and will the McCann's still be legally allowed to control how the money is spent even if they are quilty of something?

The Vice President has been pushing for this for years, and there are signs of US military preparations.

Almost as worrisome, the Bush adminsitation seems to be preparaing for domestic resistance to such an attack.

How do you think this could play out, internationally, in Iran, and in the US?

Apart from the disgust I feel about the possibility, I'd like to face our uncertain future with open eyes.

Is this a cry fo help? We all know that the Serbs want the world to be wooed by their sadistic charm but come on, shooting innocent unarmed civilians that are different then you and expelling them to neigboring countries is not the way to go about doing this. If the world nations were the cast of "The Entourage", Serbia would definitely be "Turtle" hands down. We all know you guys just want to be loved, so put down the guns, knives, and the threats and let's begin a new chapter in history as neighbors.

From the Telegraph

"Mrs McCann was joined by top Lisbon lawyer Carlos Pinto de Abreu who arrived in Praia da Luz yesterday morning.

The couple is looking into whether the fighting fund to help find Madeleine will be able to pay for his legal advice.

They have been offered support from the British consulate in Portimao but a consul can only sit in with British nationals in police interviews if they have been arrested. "

The nerve of them to find out if the fund can pay for his advice!!! The fund isnt the 'Get Kate and Gerry out of jail free' fund.

It is being reported in Portuguese newspapers that the scent of a dead body was found on Kate McCanns clothes, specifically her jeans and blouse and also on the cuddle cat. I can't do links but you can read about it on Thislondon.co.uk/news. It looks as if the truth is about to come out.

over?

There's 1000's of missing children but most of you only know of one because it's the only one that's been made convenient for your "caring". When you care about 1 child just because they are in the news, it seems like it's more about BELONGING TO SOMETHING than actually caring about the cause itself. Why else would so many people "care" about 1 missing child while there are 1000's of others they don't give a scratch about?
