Judging from all the comments on this site, the publicity, and public outrage I don't think any one of us can deny that racisim is still alive in this country on both sides of the fence.

But come on people, we have armed forces black, white, and all races fighting a war in another country for America.

After all this time fighting for equality and civil rights here in America why move backwards and invoke anger and further divide us at this point?

After all the money and energy spent rallying yesterday for this case does anyone really see the point that made?
In my opinion Gerry and Al Sharpton are only adding embers to a fire we all hoped was going out.

I think most of us can agree that was not for that kid but about racism.
Does anyone think that with all that money spent someone could have bailed him out and we could have moved on a little from there.

1. I get to hang up on them.
2. Sometimes I stay on the line and tell them huge exagerations.
3. Sometimes I give them random questions back, like Do you like Cherrios or Why are you so ugly? It throws the telemarketer way off his script.

Are we losing credibility in what is deemed racist due to the flaws of men like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton? For example: Taking on highly questionable cases like Tawanna Brawley and the whole Don Imus issue (which could have been settled without the media). So much so that people see we Black people as claiming that everything is racist, and shut down real cases like the Sean bell case in NYC, and the current Jena 6 fiasco? What's your take? No thumbs down or reports please! Honest adult opinions, please!

What was she thinking? She almost got herself killed by the police because they thought she might have had a real bomb. Boy, isn't our current crop of university students bright? With this young woman and the guy from Florida who was tasered, this country seems to have a bright future.

turn the story of the Jena 6 around. 6 white kids beat up one black kid until he was unconcious and continued to beat him up by kicking him in the head and hitting him as he lay there defensless. the night before at a PRIVATE party 3 white kids try to go to a party and are denied entrance by a black woman, a fight ensues with a black man attacking with a bottle.
6 white kids were charged and one of them as an adult with second degree murder charges.
Now the white community is rallying with the ones that did the assaulting and they dont believe that they should be freed with no punishment, and the black kid must have just deserved it.
DOES ANYONE SEE WHAT IS WRONG WITH JENA 6 YET?
IT IS REVERSE DESCRIMINATION, BUT IT IS STILL RACISM

Vegetarians don't eat meat because of cruelty to animals. I've been thinking about this. If the majority agreed with Vegetarians and stopped eating meat then there would be no reason for farmers to keep cattle. Would this not mean denying those cattle their chance of life and therefore they would simply become extinct. My conclusion therefore is that eating meat is less crues than not eating them. Any vegans with a thought?
