I did something stupid by lying to police. Its the only time in my life i was in trouble with police

Conditional discharge basically means you dont get punished as long as you stay out of trouble for a year.

It was a really stupid thing to do but the odds of me doing anything illegal is zero really as I am educated, a doctor and always stay out of trouble

But will this affect my chances of getting a visa to go to USA

I was assaulted in the street around 6pm a few weeks ago. Three teens punched and kicked me to the ground while i was walking away from a pub. I ied about where i was walking away from as i didnt want anyone to know. I admitted the truth roughly an hour after the police arrived as I am usually an honest person. The policeman charged me with obstructing course of justice.

Losers in a war should expect to be at the mercy of the victors. The Palestinians picked the wrong side to support in WWll. They should not be surprised if they had some of their land taken from them and given to whoever the victors(Ally's) chose.

Time is getting on and there are still no answers on what has happened to poor madeline.
I just feel so sad for this poor little child, my daughters the same age and i really dont think i could carry on if this nightmare happened to me.
I am slowly starting to belive the word that the parents may have something to do with it. It just all makes so much sense.
i know everyone reacts in different ways but they do seem really calm, i mean its not as if they are being strong for the other two siblings because they are not taking responsability for them.
i feel as if there is something really wrong going on with this family, surely with so much publicity all over the world someone would have had a def. sighting of this girl?
what do you think? i hope im wrong and she returns safe. x

Right now prices are $3 and probably will get up to or over $3.50 for the summer. People will complain. then prices will drop back down to $3 before winter. as programed we will then be happy about it. but we are crying about $3 now. whats the difference between now and winter? next year we will do the same but the price will average $4.

This may have been raised before given all the different scenarios that have been aired.It is possible that someone could have easily been observing the movements of the family over the course of a few days.I don't know whether her parents had left their children on previous evenings prior to May 3rd.But if they had & someone had been observing them from a distance then this could be the most likely answer.

i had heard several bad things about the i.c.p. band's followers so i had come on her and asked questions in mean ways about them because i wanted to no more about them and now that there in my town i have met them and they are all very nice people athough they do drink and i'm not for that but any way it wasn't my place to judge and i would like to apologize for that so do yo accept? if you dont that's ok if you do great.

My abuse husband has left me yipeee, but is now in cahoots with his parents to brand me an unfit mother and and is continuing to play mind games with me. Just today I found he has gone to his parents where 2 of my children are staying for the weekend and from the brief convesation I had with his father I am getting the impression they are trying to say I cannot cope with my family. Yesterday I was quite distressed as my husband is an extremely nasty piece of work, particularly when drunk and has vowed to drive me to suicide ( his exact words) He is a mental health nurse and has abused patients in the past but got away with it as he is so intimidating and positivley psychopathic.
His plan is now to make me look inadequqte so he has an easy time of gaining residency of the boys. I admit to struggling in the past and am living on my own a long way from my own family
I know this is not news or events but tough I have friends here who I think can give me good advice
Best defence guys?

I was reading the Daily Mail on the net today and i was reading up about the McCanns. Kate had said that when she realised Madeline was gone she ran out screaming "They've taken her, they've taken her" but who are they? how does she know if it was more than 1 person? how did she know she was taken? If you noticed your child was gone would you not scream "she's gone" but i'd love to know who "they" are. And another thing too, when it was suggested that Madeline could've just gone missing but not kidnapped the McCanns reply was "We're absolutely certain, we've double checked and triple checked and have no doubt she was taken" but were and how did they check this out and what did they check out? What are they hiding?

Did you know that Michael Jackson is a Muslim, and has been for about a year now? If Islam truly taught terrorism (and I already know it doesn't) do you really think M.J. would have chosen it as his religion?

I know that we cannot answer with certainty but given that this little girl has not been found, even though her photograph has been posted all over the world, surely it must seem likely that she died early on and is now buried in some remote place.

The portuguese police seem to be hinting that this is what they now believe.

I just wondered what yahoo contributors think. Is she dead or is she alive?

If any of you saw the story last Wednesday (Aug 8, 2007) about the man who smuggled a monkey onto an airplane under his hat, I have a question for you. Has his name been released? B/c I answered a question that said (and I quote exactly)
"What do i need to do if I want to transport an animal, such as a monkey, over the mexican border?". I freaked when I saw this! It was posted 3 days before that story ran and now I am beging to think that I answered that guys question! Weird. Couple of days ago Russia has sent an underwater submarine expedition to claim the waters below the North pole as a natural extension of its territory. Now, every country that has its share in the Arctic is starting their own expeditions, to support their own claims on that piece of earth becouse it contains large quantities of oil and especially gas.

That is really one of the last pieces of the globe that isn't being contested , including Antartica and entire Earth's submarine surface aswell.
Now, could we expect the same situation in the future when people start colonising planets around us. Maybe Moon and definetly Mars for the start. True, it will last decades if not over sa century but it will happen eventually. What do you think, will that trigger new neo - colonial " imperialistic" race among nations, parceling out every piece of the land they can grab their hands on.
