I think she must be dead.
If an abductor has been watching TV he/she/they will have been made aware of the flaw in her eye. This is not something that can be hidden & I believe that if she was not already dead then the release of this info probably caused her death.

Yes, unfortunately, and maybe this sounds awful, but maybe it would be better off if she turns up dead, because the thought of what has become of her is unimaginable. But I have thought from the beginning, the parents had something to do with her demise. And what fool they made of J K Rowling and the rest. and the very least they are guilty of child neglect. The McCann's seam very rattled by the fact the police have DNA evidence, and are not being told anything. The police have said that the McCann's are still not suspects at the moment, but the police aren't going to want to spook them, and hope that they will make a mistake and lead them to her grave.

I have answered this one before, a couple of months back, and my position is the same.
Children under five disappear because (in order):
1. They are kidnapped by a non-custodial birth parent (either they are in foster care or the parents are split up).
2. They are killed and their bodies are hidden. In 87% of cases, the culprit is a close family member.
3. They are involved in an accident and die of natural causes.
4. They are abducted by strangers (very rare).
5. They run away (extremely rare).
The chances are likely that if a child disappears and not found within a month, the child is dead. Paedophiles sometimes keep children around for years, but incidents of long-term paedophile abduction, despite the high profile they are given, are still very rare. Most paedophiles do not abduct children - they are usually men who are known by the victim and the victim's parents and get access to the children by gaining the trust of the child and his/her parents. That's why it is so necessary to have sex offenders registers so that parents can make an informed decision as to who can have access to their children...priests, teachers, doctors, sitters, Little League coaches, neighbors, etc.
It is a hard thing to say, but it is the truth.

i've thought for a while sadly she's not with us any longer. ugh it tears my heart. i have 3 very young girls and i can't even begin to fathom what her parent's must be feeling or giong through. i hate what people in this world can and will do, and for what?
i just hope that either way, she is safe and not suffering but with what the detectives are now saying it seems only jesus holds her close now.
i still blame the parents. what parent would refuse babysitting when it's offered and leave their baby unattended - for a freaking meal - is that what your child's life and safety is worth? an hour alone with a meal? plus the parents seem to casual for my liking. 2 weeks after the kidnap they were playing in the pool with their twins i mean, i'd be going out of my mind spare, i'd be scouring the earth for my baby, why have they just carried on normally??

I think that she is still alive as I am sure that even the Portugese police would have found her body by now if she were dead.I can't help but think about what the poor little thing may have been subjected to if she is still alive though.

I would like to think that she is alive and well, that she has been taken by a childless couple who want to lavish her with love and attention and to treat her like a princess, but I am not naive, first of all, most people who yearn for a child of their own (and are desperate enough to steal one) are more than likely going to take a baby,(not a child) that they can pass off as their own.
My instinct is that she is already dead, bless her.

I cry every time i see her face on tv or on posters i have a daughter that age and i would die inside if this happened to me (to b honest tho i never leave my kids alone, my mum is nxt door to me but i shout out the window would never leave them)
up until this week i believed she was alive, i really thought the sighting in belgium was gonna prove true, i hate it, i thinkabout it all the time its horrific, but the fact the police said tonight that they assume she may be dead tells me that they are guessing the blood stains in the apartment are hers

Logically speaking, the poor girl is probably dead. If she was alive (which I hope she is, but won't bet on it) then there would have been a ransom asked for....besides which they found blood in the hotel room, which basically says that whoever took her was willing to hurt her...
It's so sad, but I have no faith in people anymore, there is so much bad in the world that it's hard to be positive

I wonder whats making them thinking that and with no evidence? I really, really hope that poor, Innocent, sweet little child has come to no harm and will be found but realistically even thought i hate thinking it, i think that she is dead. We all hope she's found but deep down i think we all know she wont be found alive.
