sadly I dont think so, its far more likely that it was not a stranger who abducted maddie this is what i think..............
MADDIE, ABDUCTION? ACCIDENTAL DEATH? OR MURDER?
Ok lets start at the beginning, Jerry and Kate Mccan leave their 3 children 2 of which are toddlers to go to dinner with friends but they declined the use of the free babysitting service available at the apartments.... there rises the first question.....why did they do that? For what reason did they not want a fully trained babysitter to watch over their children whilst they ate?they both went to dinner and then checked on the children at regular intervals but who checked?was it Kate or Jerry or one of their friends? If it was Kate or Jerry why did they suddenly want someone else to go check?I think I am right in saying it was not Kate who found Maddie missing.....
OPPORTUNIST ABDUCTOR?
In a word No 100% not!!!! there is no Would be child abductor just strolling about a holiday complex looking in apartments in the hope that some child's parents has left them home alone to go to dinner so I think that can confidently be ruled out....
ACCIDENTAL DEATH?
This is the most likely outcome in my belief you will have to come to you own conclusion on this theory I have my own obviously....
MURDER?
There are no indications that this child was murdered either by her Family/Friends or person or persons unknown....why would a would be child murderer go into the Mccans apartment kill little Maddie and then remove her body, AND LEAVE THE TWINS UNHURT..before he left he put her “cuddle cat” on top of a shelving unit looked for cleaning fluids etc and then thoroughly cleaned the Blood spots from the walls? All this was done in the hope that at any second someone might walk in and catch Him/Her. Logic would say that this can be ruled out too.
CONCLUSION
There is no specific law ( in the UK) that states that a child can not be left alone however But parents can be prosecuted for willful neglect if they leave a child unsupervised “in a manner likely to cause unnecessary suffering or injury to health” (Children and Young Persons Act 1933). The Mccans Decision of leaving their Children alone contravenes the aforementioned Act so therefore Illegal.
The presence of Blood splatter in the apartment indicates someone was severely injured.
The fact that the forensic tests shown that an attempt was made to Wash off these stains could indicate foul play but more damningly the fact that the forensic K9 detected the “smell of Death” indicates that someone died in that apartment....the question is WHO and WHEN? If it was not Maddie then this fact would already have been recorded with the local police or coroner.
IF the DNA results prove that the blood stains are Maddie's then who had the opportunity to try to hide all the facts surrounding her death? I will let you decided that!!!!but arrests MUST be made very soon.......RES IPSA LOQUITUR(Translated means the facts speak for themselves)

It seems now that the children were left alone every night. I can't remember the exact link but it appears to be true. In fact, when you look at it, it has to be. The only way an abductor could have committed such a perfect crime was if he had time to observe the routine over more than one evening.
However, there has never been any real evidence of an abductor apart from Kate McCanns cry of 'they have taken her' when she ran back to the tapas bar leaving the twins alone.
Does anyone know in fact whether the twins slept throughout this uproar?

That is what i think. If they were checking the kids every 10-15 mins like they say, somebody must have been watching to know when to go in, they must of planned it carefully or they would have been caught. I also think the person who did it were closer to them than they think maybe laying next to them by the pool listening to their "group" making their meal arrangements. I know most people think she is dead but i think she has been sold to a childless couple for a very high price and they are somewhere that is not getting any Mc Cann coverage and this is why nobody knows anything or there are no clues

you have a point there! but only a paedophile can answer that. do paedophiles have a "type" they go for? i.e blond girls, redheads, dark haired boys, under five's or over seven's? or does any immature human being do? what ever the "scenario" for Maddie's abduction was, whatever the reasons for being left alone that night, whatever the reasons were behind taking someone elses child away from her parents tantamount to the most horrendous crime committed my man! she should have been safe in that room on her own for hours but, regretfully, we live in an imperfect world. child sexual abuse defendants, if found guilty, should get life sentences(and to mean life, brought out in a box). habitual offenders should be sentenced to death. friend or foe to the McCanns, Maddie's abductor is in the wrong not the McCanns

Not only did these two leave their kids alone on other nights whilst they were on this holiday they also left them on previous holidays too.Quite the little experts !. They said ages ago that they thought someone had been stalking them so why the hell didn't they stay with those kids. Kids should never be left alone but to leave them when you actually believe they were being stalked is crazy.

Well, even if it was just on this one night, then going back to them every half hour would have notified anyone around that someone was in there. No doubt the police will think of this in a few months time.

This is very likely as they had left them every night for nearly a week so someone could easily have been working out the best time to go in and take her. Paedophiles will wait weeks watching a child for the best opportunity the take/abuse him/her.

Well seeing as the parents left them every night it would not take Einstein to figure that they were prime targets. I would just like to know why the other two children did not wake up. Was she 'taken' by someone she knew ? I don't think we wil ever know. I just hope she has not suffered too much, as I really think we will never see her again. I hope I am wrong though. X

Well the kids were on the own every night according to one source, so much for a family holiday. If they wanted a holiday just for themselves why didn't they leave them at home, of course they were drawing attention to themselves.

They were left alone on previous nights, giving someone the opportunity to learn the family's routine. This is why I get annoyed when people say they made a mistake, if it was a mistake why did they repeat it?
