Nothing in the debris in Pennsylvania indicated that it was a flight full of people. Not one shred of physical evidence included any DNA of humans, luggage, or anything else. The flight recorders (black boxes) also have not been recovered.

The fighter planes never scrambled out at all. NORAD went on sleep mode for the entire hijacking and crashing period--even though it was over 2 hours.

It is difficult to respect leadership that refuses to lead.

Because the entire damned country was in front of their TV sets watching the carnage from NYC and the Pentagon at the time when Flight 93 crashed! Do you think that someone was on US 219 or PA Route 601 with a video camera to record the crash?
And, if you check the vector on the plane, it wasn't headed towards the White House. It looks like it was headed for Camp David in Maryland. But, don't expect the boys and girls in those mid-Manhattan media joints to be able to read a map!

By all accounts, the passengers, realizing what was/had taken place put down the plane themselves. Since it went down in the middle of nowhere, there were no cameras present.

We must salute those people who were brave enough to say NO I will not allow this to happen. It was just as terrible a loss as any of the other lives that were given up that day, but has not received the same amount of publicity, likely due to the lack of footage to show on TV.

Even if there were no videos, the flight data recorders and "black box" would give information on what ultimately happened causing the plane to go down. Unfortunately, the FBI is keeping the information secret. Normally, the NTSB would investigate a crash, but because this involved a criminal act, the FBI has control of the evidence as part of their criminal prosecution. I hate to think the plane was shot down, but I think that is the procedure that is called for if it looks like the plane is going to be used to crash into a populated area.

In the farmlands of America: who is going to be there with a camera ready to take pictures of a plane falling out of the sky. In all the air accidents we've had to date, from the be gaining, only several have been actually recorded.

And now you think, or are starting another gossip column about a U.S. fighter, shooting down the plane they didn't even know about until the last minute.
Do you think your the only one that thought about this?

Probably because it was out in the middle of nowhere?
I am pretty sure the people on this plane actually brought this plane down before it reached its target.

We don't have security cameras in the middle of nowhere.
Do you really think that it matters how the plane went down?
The fact is that it did, and a lot of lives were saved.
Recorded phone conversations released by civilians indicate that they took the plane down.
It's been 6 years.
Don't dishonor their heroism from a comfortable desk, just because it gives you something to do.

There was order to shoot down planes if hijacked & appear to be headed for suicide mission after initial attacks, but one at Pa went down by itself not by missile. This order is known. Nobody made efforts to hide the fact that the order was given, but the plane was not shot down.
