On almost a daily basis there are terrorists killing people and blowing things up. Isreal deals with suicide bombers all of the time, Iraq as well. People obviously partake in blowing themselves up as an act of defiance and an attempt to make up for a lack of resources. My question is, in America, if our people became as angry as those in palistine and Iraq, what would happen? And how far away are we from possibly reaching that point? And waht causes people to get to become that desperate?

I saw this article, and it is horrible. This man deserves to be honored through a memorial service. He served our country. It does not matter that he was gay.

Bob Murray says that there was an earthquake that caused the mine to collapse. Some geologists say no way. Plus, some news sources report that miners were complaining about the danger of a particular segment of the mine before it collapsed. I heard Murray interviewed last night. The guy gave me the creeps.

Before all the McCann Fans jump on me. I personally don't like them but I feel for their missing daughter. Everyone of their fans keeps saying to anyone who questions them being so calm and cold, well how would you act then. Why are they so cold and never show emotion. They have been told this weekend their daughter may be dead, from the outset she could have been taken by a pervert or be in hell, never have they shown any upset or acted like distraught parents. Look at how other parents who have been in their position previously have acted NEVER once has there been a set of parents who when faced with a lost child has taken it so matter of factly, and acted the way these two have. No tears, no distraugtness, no anger at the snatcher, Absolutely nothing from them. Even if you love them to bits and can see no wrong in them and are their biggest fans, you've got to question their actions against other parents in history surely?

She was one of the Tapas 9 that night.

She spotted a man carrying a bundle that could have been a child.

Then she said it was definitely a child.

Then she said it was not only definitely a child, but definitely madeleine.

Then she said it was not only definitely a child and definitely madeleine but the man was also now running away, not walking.

Wonder what it will be next week? Maybe he yelled out, 'Ive snatched Madeleine McCann!'?

Anyways all we know about Jane Tanner so far is:

She has 2 children, the eldest the same age as Madeleine

This same daughter spent the night of May 3, vomiting as she was sick. But don't worry, both her parents rather than spend time with her were with the McCanns, but like them did 'spot checks' on their children.

So apart from the fact Jane Tanners story keeps changing and gets more elaborate as time goes on, she also has the moral compass of a snake to leave a vomiting 3 year old to her own devices while she and her husband went out that night

I come from a neutral country (India). As per my understanding of events, The region called Palestine Mandate was inhabited by Arabs for past 2000 years before Jews started to settle in the region. Before long the Jews tried to build the state of Israel and faced resistance by Arabs who felt that their territory is being encroached. The result has been many decades of violence where each party has aggravated and committed violence on the other side.

I do not say either one is right or wrong. What I want is a popular opinion if people really think that Israel is a peaceful country which does no harm to Palestenians (as is normally depicted in the press, not forgetting that most of the media, atleast in the west, has heavy Jewish influence)?

while she went out with her mates

(or a young couple who had nothing and lived on a council estate)

Do you think the public would have been as sympathetic to them as they are to the middle class professional McCanns?

Somehow I think not.

With the Portugese newspaper Sol reporting that 'Gerry McCann... had noticed that the door to the children's room was more open than before and that there was more light than normal in the apartment... he assumed that Madeleine had moved into her parents' room because the twins' crying disturbed her, but that he didn't check' its possible that the 'missing hour' is in fact a 'missing few hours'. Knowing that the McCanns went out at 7.30pm is it possible that no one actually saw Madeleine after that ?

MYSTERY British holidaymaker is the latest suspect in the disappearance of missing child Madeleine McCann.

As the vanished child's parents marked 100 days without their daughter at a quiet prayer service yesterday, Portugese police examined a hire car rented by the unidentified suspect.

The man is believed to have flown to Portugal the same day as the McCann family arrived on holiday on April 28.

He is understood to have helped in searches for Maddie after she disappeared on May 3, before returning the car and flying home on May 6.

A Case for Repealing NAFTA and Blocking the NAU

A merger of the United States, Mexico, and Canada enabled through NAFTA and called the North American Union is arguably the greatest current threat to our freedoms under the U.S. Constitution.

If the state Senate passes H.J.M. 5 in Idaho, it would represent the first state to successfully pass an anti-NAU resolution in both the House and Senate.

The introduction and passage of these resolutions will likely spark some debate in Washington on this issue. For the most part, there has been an almost complete media blackout on the intended political and economical merger of the United States, Canada and Mexico. Congress, with the exception of Virgil Goode’s H.C.R. 40, has also denied knowledge on the President Bush-backed scheme to integrate the three countries participating in the Security and Prosperity Partnership.

Idaho represents the 14th state to introduce anti-NAU and SPP resolutions. The other states include Ariz

Am I the only one here to find this post (from the Mirror forum) the stupidest thing I've heard since Shambo last mooed in here?

"A few days i started looking carefully at gerrys blogs... I read that someone said there was a code with the mispelled words in his blogs. for some time i have thought that the repetition of words reads oddly, an educated man would have more range. for example the repetition in this one reads -

focus, missing, settle.

is it a code? stop panicking and focus on her being missing (not murdered?) "

Thoughts please! I find this ridiculous. What about you?

I've heard on the news that they are thinking about bringing the draft back. They said it's possible, but the President hasn't responded on this yet.

What are your opinions on this? Should the draft be brought back?

I think it shouldn't. You can't force someone to fight in a war that they don't want to be involved in.
